Monster Family Review

A horrible family turns into horrible monsters in a horrible movie.

It seems even the worst Hotel Transylvania movie is still better than Monster Family.

I've seen mummies control their bandages, control sand, control bugs, wield the power of curses, possess inhuman levels of strength and durability, suck the very life out of humans, even shoot lasers from their eyes or control fire. I have NEVER seen a mummy with hypnosis powers.

The only vampire that it makes sense having ice and time powers is DIO, dammit. Also, I'm surprised there was no comment on the rip off of the "Puny God" bit from The Avengers in this.

OOOOH so glad you got around to review this abomination, not only is the animation terrible, it is just such a dumb idea for a movie altogether. The characters are one-note and they barely change personalities when transformed. Hard to believe this got a sequel, but then again, 100% Wolf now has TWO SEASONS of a cartoon series. Let that sink in... And maaan, Tom Jones Dracula looks like if Mr. Fantastic was a villain on the Incredibles. Also you'd think if they specifically put Baba Yaga in this movie, they would have given her the chicken leg hut...

Part of me hates myself for thinking of DIO with all this ice imagery. But then again that's from a part of the series I like so...

I know this is late but why not have the mother, who becomes a vampire, use hypnosis?! Mummies can’t do that anywhere near as often! Give the mummy girl any of those abilities. Also, Dracula in the original novel, and vampires in general pre-Nosferatu, didn’t burn in the sunlight. He was perfectly fine more or less.

Hey I'll never say no to a reply no matter how old. Yeah, it makes no sense to give the daughter hypnosis powers. Again, I've NEVER seen a mummy do that. And yes I'm aware that before Nosferatu didn't burn in sunlight, it just removed their power. But seems the burning in sunlight is here to stay.
