Early Page 422 (Patreon)

A new page! A new place! A sad Bel!

I'm trying something new with this background. I've saved it in background, midground, and foreground chunks so I can try doing some minor parallax in panels, to help with the illusion of them moving from place to place. It's not in full view on this page yet, and with luck it won't actually be that noticeable (why do I do this to myself), but I'm excited to play around with it and see what happens.

The Memorial Glade is the town burial site -- I wish I had had more time to really dig into research and put a lot of interesting offerings and details into it, but as per usual, it's better to be done than perfect. Perhaps the next time I paint it I'll have a better idea of how to really spruce it up.

Also hopefully it won't be in the dead of winter and covered in snow lol That does make it hard to show, like, flowers and stuff.
