VC the antiquarian relaxed in his office filled with ancient and peculiar tomes and grimoires. The curious reader may go mad by unlocking the eldritch knowledge contained within.

One such book seemed almost benign. The Codex Carnivorae, a rather modest looking thing, one might assume it belonged somewhere on the shelf of a local library. But what was contained within was anything but natural... Instructions on how to lure and seduce helpless prey and swallow them alive... The contents included pages and pages of first hand accounts of previous owners of the book, writing in detail about their experiences. How they felt their prey struggle and beg while their last desperate cries were drowned out by digestive gurgles.

Some accounts mentioned how they even felt aroused through the whole ordeal, and even that their prey accepted their fate willingly... only to struggle with regret later as digestive acids and putrid bile melted their skin and tainted their lungs.

Curiosity got the better of him, and VC decided it was time for him to jot down his own entry and experiences into the Codex.
