I wish you all a happy new year!

2024 was a very intense year for me. I started the year by moving house, followed by some slight health problems that slowed me down a bit before the summer. This summer was probably my best period this year, with relatively few issues (I'm really looking forward to the return of the sun, I definitely hate winter ๐Ÿ˜…). And the end of the year was the worst period for me, as the health issues I'd had at the beginning of the year got way worse. I really would have loved to finish the Halloween series, I had some good ideas for the next characters, but alas, I really didn't have the strength to work at the end of the year.

I said earlier that I was going to explain what happened, but I'm not going to go into too many details, it's a mix of different things. It started with intestinal issues, which got worse when I took certain supplements (which, supposedly, helped solve my intestinal problems, but were quite the opposite), and it took me a long time to realize that these supplements were making things worse. Then the stress and anxiety of not being able to work and provide new illustrations, plus a circadian rhythm that was completely out of sync. All these factors fed into each other, making the situation worse and worse. In December, I managed to start pulling myself out of this hellish loop, and it's going much better than before, now that I've managed to isolate what was wrong. At least one good thing is that it allowed me to learn a lot more about my body ๐Ÿ˜….

I hope 2025 will be better than 2024, personally, I mean.

Now that I can manage my issues way better than before, I'm going to submit a schedule each month and try to stick to it as best I can. This will enable me to organize myself better, as well as better anticipate certain key dates for illustrations.

As I explained, and as you've probably noticed, the style of the illustrations has changed (since the Halloween illustrations, to be precise). I'm trying to bring in more contrast, more pronounced shadows, with a slight touch of semi-realistic, while maintaining an anime style, which, for me, adds more โ€œbodyโ€ to the image. I know some people like the old style more, which is more anime, but this new style pleases me a lot and I want to continue with it for the time being. I'll try to keep the anime style as much as possible, I'm still experimenting.

My best wishes for 2025 to all of you, thank you very much for your support throughout this last year, I am very grateful โค๏ธ.
