Typing this while watching but Negan didn’t bury Lucille. He was in prison for 7 years and the survivors never grabbed it like Michonne said. I think the grass just started growing over it over time.

Fun fact if you didn't know! That is Jeffrey Dean Morgan's wife in real life too! That's why there chemistry was so good, and why they were allowed to kiss, cuddle & get really close during Covid protocols. Also, Courtney was right about the Alpha thing. Before Negan killed Alpha, he spoke about Lucille, and how she was never more beautiful once she lost her hair. I think that part of Alpha reminded him of his wife.

Lia,the bat that Brandon gave him was a different bat,while Negan was killing the Walker Brandon was wrapping the new bat with barbwire(that's why he didn't help with the walker kill)Negan even says "thanks for the help" and Brandon replies with "I was busy wrapping your gift" 🙄🙄

Being that they were married in real life gave the screen relationship really good chemistry. Another thing... at the beginning of the episode young Hershel was singing the same song that Carl sang to Negan in season 7 when Negan was holding him captive.

Literally one of the best episodes I think, I agree Jeffery dean Morgan needs a Oscar the acting in that episode was on point and so calculated especially the scene where it's him talking to his former self it literally was like you were looking at 2 different people
