I wanted to make a little bit more progress today, but finishing the colour of the characters (including two hamburgers, a hot dog, and onion rings) is also progress because there are so many of them.

I have so many layers, and I haven't even gotten to the shading and lighting yet. It's at times like this that I realise how challenging a two-month picture can be for me. XD

As I was drawing, I realised a couple of important things about perspective. I feel like I have an insane amount to learn in this area because my main focus is mostly characters and drawing expressions. The perspective ruler has helped a lot in CSP, but I can't use it properly yet. I admit I've always avoided drawing vehicles, and I've also always had a lot of difficulty placing a lot of characters in space in a believable way. But with this picture, even though I am far from the end, I feel I have learned a lot. I feel my brain is expanding. XD I think I know what steps I should take, and in what order, to draw more believably and correctly next time when I wish to include an environmental perspective.

I tried to calculate how much more time I had to finish with the picture, and I realised that it would be just about done by the time the next vote winner was chosen. Keep your fingers crossed for me that it goes smoothly. XD
