Much like poll #46, I’d like to gauge how well you guys are enjoying the new caves quest variant that I released to alpha recently! I’m going to ask you to rate the new quest on a scale of 1-5, comparing its overall difficulty/complexity, and fun factor compared to the crystal caves quest.

The results of this poll will help me gauge the quality of the new gnoll caves quest compared to the existing crystal caves quest.

Gnoll Quest Difficulty/Complexity

Firstly, I’m interested in seeing how difficult people feel the gnoll quest is compared to the crystal one. I felt that it was notably more punishing in development, and so scaled some numbers and mechanics back accordingly. The crystal quest has more overall hazards, but the gnoll quest punishes you more for failing to dodge avoidable attacks, so I’m curious to see how well those two balance out.

Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, I want to know how good a time you guys are having with the quest! This is a simple subjective measure of how much you enjoyed playing through the gnoll quest compared to the crystal one. The crystal quest is inherently more appealing visually, so I hope that I’ve added enough mechanics to make the more ‘down to earth’ gnoll quest just as entertaining.
