Oh this is a surprise. Honestly get your points why you can’t get into it. This show got really good ratings and reviews from most people due to how the story unfolds but I do see it being a slow start tbh it was hard for me to get into it but once I pushed through after Ep 4 it went crazy good. I do notice a pattern with you , shows have to be riveting from the jump .. understandable! This is not your cup of tea it’s cool , you gave it a shot and we appreciate that. I’d still recommend “ The Good Bad Mother”.. more up your alley . I’ve never seen Taxi Driver, I saw some comments about it too . It will be interesting regardless what you pick.

what makes it good is that all that emotion you dnt feel right now, it’s all gonna start showing, the drama, tension, it’s all gonna happen, it’s just a really slow start

If you do not feel like watching it anymore, I would suggest you do not continue watching because even though I did prefer QOT to Mr plankton, it is impt that you like it in order to watch more of the episodes. It’s just a shame though, I really enjoyed this drama and wanted you to enjoy it too, but if you can’t vibe with it at all, I suggest to just move on to a different drama. Because you liking the drama does make it more enjoyable to watch. At least you gave QOT a chance, so I understand your preference that you don’t like it as much as we did

i just watched it cause the reviews were so high and it was in netflix top 10 for the uk (kdramas never make it there except like squid game or all of us are dead) i will say it's a real slow start but i wouldn't say it was BAD...pretty decent but to be honest its best to watch a show that grabs your attention from ep 1

I think you should continue watching it only if you really want to, because yes this show was pretty popular, but it also had some mixed reviews. Based on what you've enjoyed so far, I could kinda tell that you weren't gonna like this one

the reason qot was popular and was highly rated in korea was the plot and the chemistry between the leads. The relationship developments between couples, families. Its not just the normal lovey dovey corny kdrama love story but a more serious one about marriage and trying to get back in touch with ones roots, also the character developments is crazy and how the story unfolds esp how there is a back story (or 2 sides to every moment in the drama). I feel like its such a good drama when payed attention to, even the little details, because usually the episodes are connected like ep 1 showed his side of their relationship ep 2 showed her side so if you dont watch it back to back its really hard to be invested or remember the details. If u dont feel it bris its best to leave it and hopefully watch taxi driver or twinkling watermelon hahaha but if u do push through to ep 4-5 i will guarantee you bris this show will make you love and adore every single character!!

Honestly I don’t blame you tried and it’s not for you. And yes sometimes the story takes a while to pick up. At the end of the day episodes are 1hour long and sometimes even more. For that amount of time it should catch your attention.

Not really a spoiler but the guy that is in squid games, is a psychopath in this drama. Which is what they were hinting at in that hunting scene. Do with that what you will lol but I enjoyed the drama. As others said the first few episodes are kinda setup episodes. You are meant to be confused here.

Its been a while since I watched the show, but I do remember the second half of the show being better than the first. Its up tp you if you dont wanna continue haha, but it definitely takes a while to get invested into the main leads relationship since they dont like each other anymore in a way in the beginning. Im still gonna always recommend The Devil Judge for another drama haha, great show with some great acting! And I think they would be a mostly(?) new set of faces from what I've seen you see on the channel.

Judge from hell or Taxi driver may be a better fit for you. I personally could not get into Queen of tears and struggled to understand the hype as well. I like the cast but it was just not for me.

it definitely is boring in the first few episodes but it sets out context which becomes important later on. once the first few episodes pass, it definitely becomes much more tense and hooks u in. i felt like that at first too! but i do think its a hit or miss show its not like certain dramas where 99% of people would love it yfm.

I understand if you feel a little confused by the lack of chemistry they brought in the early episodes which wasn't very bold, but this is very understandable because in the story, after 2-3 years of their marriage, they are not sure between love and hate, which will be explained in the next episodes. The main conflict in this drama will only be felt in the middle to the end when the disease gets worse and there are several antagonistic groups who want to seize their family's throne. This is where the character development and chemistry between the two of them gets better until the end. And this is when so many people who ended up liking watching this drama also felt heartbroken because of the plot conflict in this phase, including myself. This tells the story of a couple who at first felt separated, then reunited with "both of us against the world" kinda vibes which is so relatable and hope for another opportunities even though it is very difficult, where their feelings of love are both tested in the midst of despair, sadness, insults, loss of trust. I completely understand if you feel this is not your cup of tea, but I think it would be fair if you consider watching at least one or two more episodes and if you don't like it, I think we would really understand and appreciate it.

You are 100% right but the people are mostly selfish, honestly, it's kinda obvious that he is not into slow romance kdramas and this one it's one example of that, he tries them because he wants to please the people but the difference when he is into something and when is not it's just loud. Just drop it, dude, there it's no shame in that, you are just being real. The people need to stop suggesting what they like, this it's a slow romance kdrama, although it was popular, it can't be for everyone, I personally couldn't finish it either, I mean if you are like that at ep 2, the situation it's pretty clear, who waits a few episodes to get into a kdrama?! I could never😂 There are plenty of non romance kdramas or non slow romance kdramas to choose, you can try others. I'm pretty sure that you would like an action kdrama like Taxi Driver. Maybe you can think even about going back to K2 because you said you like Ji Chang Wook and when you did ep 1, you weren't that cold as in this one, you kinda liked it but there was one that you liked even better, Worst of evil, I got the choice at that time but think about it since you are more familiar with Chang Wook now and he really shines in action in that one.

Honestly, I've watched too many dramas between when I watched QOT and this reaction to be able to guess whether you're going to start liking it eventually. I know I ended up really liking it and I tend to be more patient with kdramas in the beginning that start off kind of slow but some people prefer to be hooked at the very beginning. I personally like it both ways if I feel like the plot is good enough. But I can tell when you're really into a drama, you pay attention a lot better and actually pause/rewind when you think you might miss some dialogue. With this one, since it's not grabbing your attention as well and you're not really feeling the dialogue as much, I feel like even when you decide to look something up on the internet (like when you wanted to look at the cast) in the middle of a scene, you don't bother pausing it or going back to see what you missed. So clearly this one might not be for you if it's already starting off that way and it might not be as fun for some of your subscribers to watch your reaction anyway if that's how it's going to be. I like that you're completely honest in your reactions and if you're not feeling it I don't want you to waste your time or ours. This should be fun for all of us. No need to force yourself. If you want to watch a couple more episodes based on the comments I think that would be really nice of you. But I hope you only do it cause you really want to give this drama a chance. Either way, we all love your reactions which is why we keep coming back for more. 😉

As someone who also didn't love this show i do think the next couple episodes are better than these ones BUT not good enough to finish the show, i stopped watching after ep 6 because it still didn't leave an impression on me and i APPRECIATE that you are being honest about not wanting to continue and the reason otherwise we'd feel like you were just doing it bc it's a job and not you truly enjoying what you do cause we love your authentic reactions!

Idk why either but when I saw that QOT got the most votes and likes I was kinda unsure about it because I know for a fact that bris would not like it especially the FL character n attitude hahahahaha but i myself did like the show of course but if you don’t like it let’s just watch something else. Don’t waste your time on something your not really interested in 😁 there are actually a lot of good like taxiii driver omg I hope you will watch it and see if it up to your liking cause it really good either watch the trailer or the description

i know everybody got their own taste like bris is enjoying mr plankton (im feeling ok about it atm, its not too compelling to me like it is to many, also the actress's acting I'm not the biggest fan of, but I am not saying it is bad or anything) . i have never seen QOT but based off of what I've heard and clips I've seen, i feel like there'll be moments bris will get pissed n not enjoy, and i cant enjoy watching unless the reactor enjoys it cos they'll commentate along the way. for eg, i watched lovely runner in my own time n enjoyed it but then rewatching it w bris sometimes made me see the drama in a bad light cos he couldn't get into it like i did n found issues (i grew up w cheesy stuff so i can get pass it n find it endearing). so hopefully even if its not our own preference, i hope QOT is gonna be good. W Mr plankton, at least i can enjoy it becos bris points out why the story is so good when i couldn't notice cos i usually don't rly like that type of plot. and to answer bris' answer whether qot got dope osts, Im certain cos I hear the ost everywhere on reels cos it went viral
