I think I’m going to have to be the complete opposite of other commentators lol I grew up watching the sub on my old ass pc and can’t stand the voice dub of Naruto haha although it was still fire on toonami, also forgot how silly the beginning of Naruto was lol

Ohhh finally!!🤩 i had so much to say lolll but its going to be interesting now that i know you actually played the game!! i heard the dubs are great but for me, Subs are fireeeee!! i hope you stick to it🙏 As you may know, its one of the big anime so it takes alot to watch this show, and i’d be real proud to reach Shippuden with you🤩 I hope (and i think) you’ll really like this, though kid naruto storyline and the anime itself are abit stretchy but its also important!! I played the story solely to unlock the characters, I don't really have any preconceptions apart from characters movesets in game. The only thing I really know is that there's a LOT of Sakura hate, so I wonder if I'll agree or not lol.

sooo much nostalgia 😭 naruto + shippuden has some of the best openings and endings among anime in my humble opinion. also I grew up w the dub so this is actually my first time watching the sub (outside of the video games) which is interesting !!

i usually have a preference for sub (for most animes) but naruto is one of the few where i prefer dub but this is mostly bc of nostalgia since i grew up watching it (and i have tried the sub before but i couldn’t get into it as much, sadly, and i really think do think my nostalgia simply plays a huge aspect of it lmao) but i definitely don’t mind watching reactions who do the sub regardless bc i’m here for the reaction. also, about the kid naruto story line, i actually loved it (obviously shippuden has its great impactful moments as well) so i am curious to see how anthony feels for both, hehe. 👀

omg i agree. i’m someone who prefers watching from its original language and i personally don’t have an issue with watching + reading the subs at the same time but, in naruto’s case, i feel like me growing up with the dub is just too big that, even if the sub is good, i personally couldn’t get into it. also, i grew up watching a few animes here and there but naruto was always my main one i consistently kept being interested in so my feelings for it are a lot stronger and that’s probably why my mind just can’t do sub for this specific anime lol

ahhh i totally get what you mean! i have some anime shows that i grew up watching but in dubs and i really can’t get into it with subs😭 and to me i loveeee both kid naruto and shippuden, but these days i think new anime enjoyers don’t really enjoy these storylines like we do before (obv not in a bad way), so better let him know beforehand😭 im also curious!
