Rockette wooden toy soldiers (Patreon)

Just a quick post with some of my favorite pictures of my favorite toy soldiers.

From when I was young I loved the idea of being turned into a toy. It started with Chitty Chitty bang bang when I was very young, I was a windup doll for like three halloweens after seeing it. But it was seeing the Rockettes as toy soldiers that really kicked my interests into high gear. I absolutely adore the over the top costumes, rosy cheeks, the giant plumed hats. It awoke a lot of my interests including transformation, body control, twinning, and embarrassment. It’s honestly amazing to me to hear able to point to one single picture that ended up igniting something in me that would continue for so long and lead to so many different interests and people.
