Gyokko is a merman?!?! 🧜‍♂️ This is amazing. Unfortunately for him, Muichiro is even more amazing 😏 this kid has got to be faster than Rengoku for sure.

It’s interesting how Rengoku’s presence could be felt throughout the last two arcs, even though he is dead, and had the shortest stint as a Hashira. I will never NOT be emotional during this episode. He’s my man! 🔥🔥 Regarding the movies, there is another arc after this one, and three (possibly) upcoming movies. One of them is releasing some time this year.

Couple of comments: 1. No, Muichiro is not the most powerful Hashira. But there is indeed an individual who is considered the clear cut number one. 2. Season 4 consists of only 8 episodes and leads up to the final arc. The final arc consists of 3 movies that have yet to be released.

Muichiro is just a short tsukishima that knows how to use a sword well. Every interaction between Him and Gyokko felt like watching Tsuki egging Hinata/Kageyama on lol. This isn't relevant but thank god mermaids and mermen aren't real because if Gyokko is the standard I'd never touch sea water again.

Quantifying the strength of the Hashira from each other is tough, because it is rarely directly mentioned in the series. What context we have is(from Tengen), is Gyomei(Stone Hashira) is "a complete enigma" and Muichiro "became a Hashira only 2 months after picking up the sword" Another factor is age. Gyomei is a fair amount older that the rest of the Hashira. Nearly all the Hashira hover between 18-21(Tengen at 24), but Gyomei is 27. In the incredibly short-lived job a demon slayer is, he has lived far longer, meaning he likely has the most experience out of any currently active demon slayer. So my take, when I was at this point in the story, was that Gyomei is the strongest Hashira, but Muichiro likely has the most raw talent among the Hashira. However Muichiro is on top when it comes to snappy mit-fight comebacks.

About your question about what comes after the fourth arc, they are currently making 3 movies to finish the story.

After season 4, we are getting 3 movies, which could end the series but not a 100% sure yet. Those movies will cover the real PEAK of the series lol. The 1st movie will most likely release in the 2nd half of this year. I would say Muichiro is similar in strength to Rengoku. Muichiro is more Talented but Rengoku still had more Experience which closes the gap.

I think Lady Kanroji is my favorite Hashira. She's so cute!! I love her background music and the animation while she's fighting, it makes me feel like I'm watching a magical girl anime LOL.

I think Adam's interpretation that "Tokito needed to experience the anger of losing a loved one to awaken his abilities" is very fitting. Moreover, I believe that during Tokito's battle against Gyokko, he was able to further awaken his abilities because Gyokko, like the demon who killed his brother, greatly devalued the existence of humans. That kind of anger resonated on the same wavelength.

Also! I'm watching this season for the first time through your reaction videos, so I haven't seen the opening or ending themes yet, but I LOVE that song by MWAM and milet !!!! I listen to a lot of Japanese music but I don't watch that much anime LOL, so I'm always surprised when songs I like end up being songs used in animes, I'm always like "woah that song is from x anime????" when I find out

It's difficult to gauge the Hashira's power rankings, especially Muichiro because he's only been a Demon Slayer for at most 2 years and change, which is SO wild to me considering how it took Tanjiro the same amount of time to become competent enough for the Final Selection. As for the remainder of the story, the anime has one more season, then it is currently planned that the rest will be told in 3 movies. There is still SO MUCH that I can't wait for Adam and Sarah to see, and I hope they do in fact read the manga after the movies are out.

Love VS Hate! The time has come! I was surprised that Adam and Sarah didn't realise this earlier when they were making predictions, since we already knew that the new demon emotion is "Hatred". Anyway this episode was very good, seeing Rengoku was very exciting. Regarding also how much stronger Upper 4 is than Upper 5 and so on... In some previous episode they had mentioned that you have to beat those above you to move up. If they haven't managed that for hundreds of years, I'd say the difference is huge, though I don't think we have any way to quantify it.

My guess is because of two main reasons: 1 Demon Slayer is so insanely popular that they want to send it off with a movie budget and 2, because Mugen train made so much money and broke so many records, it wouldn't surprise me if these 3 movies gross a billion dollars collectively since Mugen train was around 500 million. So I guess in summary, money 🤣🤣

Also, just in my cynical opinion, making movies is easier for the studio when fulfilling their tax obligations lol The studio that makes Demon Slayer got into trouble with taxes around the time they started producing movies so I don't actually know any specifics or if that's the reason but just my conspiracy theory

I don't have the exact quotes off the top of my head but when the Sound Hashira was fighting in the entertainment district, I remember Upper Six saying that Uzui is probably a genius. I really like that scene because Uzui laughs it off and says something like "No, I'm actually not very gifted" before he starts thinking of the Hashira he considers to be amazing... in Uzui's mind he considered Mist Hashira amazing for becoming a Hashira in so little time and said the Earth Hashira has mind blowing strength all before wondering if he can even be compared to someone like Rengoku. So through those thoughts you kind of get a snapshot for at least what one character thinks about the other Hashira's strength in battle
