Sorry to keep asking the same thing but I feel like this is a big decision and the results of the first poll were too close so I'm trying it again to make sure we choose the best possible option. This time it's opened up to more people and I've added a third option. Here are my thoughts on each one:

White background - It's probably what most quickly conveys the brand but for this purpose it may be a little hard to read and tends to blend in with YouTube's white theme.

Grey background - It's the new option, just slightly darker than the white one. I feel it could potentially resolve some of the issues with the white one.

Red background - I'm leaning a little bit toward this one at the moment. It's by far the most eye catching. It's commonly shown this way on their branding and may be the easiest to read. I just question if it conveys the brand quite as fast and effectively as the other two.

I really appreciate everyone's help on this one. I've attached all the options.

By the way Company Man, thanks for the idea, I'm now going to have Chick-fil-A for lunch today... Hahaha

best to grab them before they’re closed all day tomorrow!

I know that's right! As I said on my other comment on the other post, I can't tell you how many times friends, family, or myself has tried to go to Chick-fil-A on Sunday... I'll even admit a couple times we got as far as in their parking lot before realizing it was Sunday and that they're closed.

I think a deep red would definitely look good for the thumbnail. If the logo blends in too much, you can try and create an outline.

Excellent choice. I actually went there for the first time about a year and a half ago and couldn't have been more impressed.

im not ashamed to admit that this has happened to me on multiple occasions. i’d see the place with no line and think to myself “sweet, no line, i can be in and out” and then realize “oh yeah, its sunday” :(

The white on red is more aligned with their branding.

Jon

I like the grey more than the white but red is still my favorite

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking the other way around was more aligned but many seem to agree with you so it makes me feel better about choosing that one.

I thought the same until I opened the Chick Fil A app. The UI is mostly white on red.
