Next week's video is about Target and why they're successful. Wanted to hear your input about which of these thumbnails you think is better. Both options are attached.

*I've noticed that the white background options never seem to do too well in these polls. Maybe they tend to be too plain looking or maybe this happens to be a group of people with a particular preference. Not sure, but I thought I'd give it a try again here because I'm kind of a fan of the white ones.

I think that white backgrounds don't do as well as other colors because (a) they are more bland, (b) they are not as eye-catching as something with a colored background because, (c) most people use the light theme for YouTube on mobile and web.

In marketing, white backgrounds tend to get the lowest click throughs and illicit the weakest emotional responses. I would definitely go for the red background.

Red is very eye catching naturally but also red is Target’s primary color.

I don't want to make it a Christmas or winter theme, would make people less likely to watch it at other times of the year. It's looking like the red one is the way to go.
