I’ve always said Chris was a beautifully tragic character. He came back from the future to save his family and he did but the tragic part is that he died doing it. That pushed Leo to take the step he had to and kill Gideon. The beautiful part of Chris’s character is that he gets a second chance and he will get to see the future he helped to create. Love him. He’s a really amazing character.

It's so sad. It's sacrificial, it's a true Halliwell move, but he died doing what he aimed to do. To save the future for Wyatt as well as make amends with his family (Leo in particular)

Season 6 is one of my favorites, it's very divided with the fans but I love it. I think it gave charmed a breath of fresh air it needed, and I mean hey who doesn't love a good time travel story. The parallels of Chris and Prue are just crazy, besides sharing green eyes and telekinesis (and sass lol), they also both died young by saving a sibling and protecting their family. The little hug and I love you moment between Piper and Chris just makes me so happy, Drew is really good at acting with his eyes so the look of pure love he gives Piper in that moment 🥺. I love the part where Paige is saying they need to celebrate Chris' birth and he goes "I'm the baby, I give you permission not to" that line just makes me laugh. Also his face when Phoebe is being all cutesy to him 😂. But ugh that scream of "NO" from Leo cuts right to my soul.

This is a stellar episode for Brian Krause, that's for sure. Not sure what was going on with Rose McGowan and Paige's reaction to Phoebe being shot though. Maybe it was one of those bad days she had on set.

This episode... Just this episode 😭 I love it so much, one of the three finales in this show that share my number one finale spot. As others have mentioned, Chris' story is so heartbreaking yet so good. It's so sad to imagine that he sacrificed everything to save the future yet he never got to experience it himself. Even if he technically survived the Chris that was born in this episode will be a bit of a different version. And Leo is so amazing in this one, definetely satisfying to see him destroy Gideon and so sad to see everything he went through in this episode. But also all the funny moments in this episode alongside all this hearbreak... The demon of hope Barbras is so perfect, I love that they did that 😂 And then there are all the funny lines that came due to people being in this crazy reality. Personally, I still prefer the earlier seasons but season 6 definetely is the season that I find myself appreciating much more through rewatches than I did on the first watch. I always loved the second half and this season finale but my enjoyment of first half was really clouded by the Leo and Piper break up and I remember really disliking Chris so much at first until he ended up growing on me a lot once we actually got to know him. That's why I always get a bit worried when the commenters in reactions hype Chris up so much when he first shows up because even the fact that he is such a fan-favourite feels a bit spoilery to me. But I also get it because there are so many reasons to love this guy. There are still some decisions I don't like for this seasons but especially looking at it with some distance it is still a good one. Anyway, absolutely loved your reaction and am simultaneously excited that you are so far into this show already but also sad about the fact that there are only two seasons left. Definetely looking forward to your thoughts on the rest of the show though.

Above all things, Leo is a father first which I love about his character. Can't believe you're on the last 2 seasons now! Side note: If Barbus had an ASMR channel, he would make millions, I just know it

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of this season (and I'm a huge enough Charmed fan that I've visited Halliwell Manor in person!). I never liked a lot of the cheesy costumes (felt like a ploy to keep boyfriends from complaining), and the Chris storyline just never resonated. There's a few episodes I like, and have watched with you, including these 2 for the finale, because they really do a good job, especially Barbas. And I must say, you never disappoint, Liam! Great reaction!

I’m really happy you liked this season. It’s my favorite. It’s why I joined your patreon. Season 7 is my second favorite season so I’m very excited for the coming reactions.

Chris' storyline always breaks my heart. He grew up in a world where his Dad was never there for him, his Mum died young and his Brother is evil and ends up taking over the world. So he ends up living in an Apocalypse type world. Then he goes to the past to save his brother and the world, but has to lie to his family. He has to be around his dead Mum and Aunts and his Absentee Dad and treat them like strangers, have them look right through him and sometimes actually seem to hate him (and it must really hurt, because while he was acting very shady a lot, he knew he was doing it all for THEM and Wyatt, and he'd been honest that he was trying to save Wyatt). He splits his parents up in order to get into their lives, risking his own existence in order to save the rest of his family. His fiancé is murdered by his brother. Eventually his family start finding out about him, but he's still unsure he's gonna manage to be conceived. Until luckily he is. But then he dies trying to protect his brother. After fixing his relationship with Leo, and building a new relationship with Piper and his Aunts. It all just hurts. Especially when you put it all together like that. Also, him dying in Leo's arms, then having Leo holding baby Chris later in the episode! Agh! Leo killing Gideon is one of my favourite moments! Totally deserved!!!

Great reaction, Liam! This is one of my favourite episodes overall despite the fact that season 6 is my least favourite season of all.
