WHY I’M GIVING UP ON MY FUJIFILM X100V? 3 of 6 (Patreon)

I love this camera, albeit not for the reasons I initially anticipated, but it is time to let it go.
To know the reason for my decision, you’ll have to wait until Saturday, whilst in the next days we’ll retrace my story with this exceptional machine (and my beautiful models).
The third shooting when I seriously gave a chance to the X100V was the one with Kiki, concentrating on the “grungy” and in your face Polaroid style, with apparently messy compositions + blasts from the in-camera flash.
Experimenting was fun, but the toll to pay having to use CaptureOne was too high, and I momentarily abandoned the idea of using this camera, unless I had specific purposes where it would excel.
If on one side the X100V was a huge disappointment for my #BramleyApple nude project, it proved itself an invaluable tool to build memories, an Every Day Carry camera and, most of all, a way to fall in love with photography all over again.
In 2016 I had decided to waste no more time in taking useless pictures of meaningless subjects, I just wanted to concentrate on nudes.
But the arrival of the Fujifilm X100V in 2020 reignite my passion for photography at large, and without a purpose.
I enclose some example photos in this post, after the customary daily nude.
I even started a new profile on IG just to engage photography from another angle, fool the algorithms, and try to get more followers into my nude photography project.

But I was wasting too much time, and I gave up.
