THIS is the 200th FOA strip. I'm not usually one to celebrate a number but it's still nice to know it's here and thriving after finishing up a bunch of other projects and wondering what was the next thing for me. I don't mind FOA being that next thing. It hearkens back to when I made comics as a kid with a menagerie of animals akin to Tiny OR Looney Toons (but really Tiny Toons, lets be real).

November 9th is the 2nd year anniversary of the strip starting as well. But we're not there yet. Let's just enjoy 200 for now. It IS the bigger number, after all.

I really enjoy FOA. Becoming quite attached to these characters. I was thinking the other day that it really reminds me of poring through book after book of Bloom County as a kid. No idea if you'd consider that a favorable comparison haha but it is to me.

I have been reading older strips like Bloom County and others to sort of wrap my head around telling a story or using characters in this format. It's been a while since I've done a comic like this, and wanted to re-figure my thinking to it.

I love FOA, and I’m glad you’re doing it. I think it’s the best web comic out there hands down. Is there still a plan to get a collection funded? I would buy five copies, minimum. Makes Xmas EZ.

Getting the Patreon notification that FOW updated has been a highlight of my day for uh, however long I have been a Patron. I usually pause whatever I'm doing to read it and it's hella soothing. Thanks for sticking with it

Not yet no. I would bet that we have missed the mark on getting them made in time for the holidays, as we usually put a moratorium around this time of the year on anything new to deal with the holiday rush at Topatoco. but now that I'm back on my feet after moving, I will pursue our options again.
