Light.
Blinding, all-encompassing light.

Under the gaze of the assembled toads of Mount Myōboku, an uncontainable radiance burst forth from Gensou, so dazzling it obscured even the sun behind him.

Gamabunta squinted as his vision was consumed by the piercing white glow, forcing him to bow his head. Yet, his mounting anxiety and fear drove him to bellow,

"Gensou! What are you doing?!"

Gensou gave no reply.

Instead, a deathly stillness blanketed Mount Myōboku.

The wind, the streams, the croaks of the toads—even Gamabunta's voice—all fell silent. The scene froze as if the world had been turned into an unchanging tableau.

And then, in the next moment, an overwhelming force shattered the stillness into dust.

In Gamabunta's perception, the unfolding chaos resembled a muted drama.

An unparalleled repulsive force descended from the heavens. Everything in its path—trees, toads, mountains, and even the earth itself—was either obliterated or hurled outward like feathers caught in a storm.

Time seemed to slow as Gamabunta watched in excruciating detail, almost believing he could evade the incoming destruction.

But when he tried to act, he realized in shock that the unstoppable force was already upon him.

BOOM!!!

Only then did the thunderous roar and bone-shaking tremor reach his ears, sending chills down his spine.

"I…"

Dazed and terrified, Gamabunta tried to utter something, but the devastating force slammed into his massive body.

Instantly, confusion gave way to horror.

He couldn't stop it.

With a sickening crunch, Gamabunta coughed up blood as he was launched backward like a missile, propelled by the expanding shockwave of the Super Shinra Tensei.

His body smashed through countless buildings, cliffs, and fellow toads before skidding to a halt in a heap of rubble. As unconsciousness took him, his final thought was a despairing whisper:

"Mount Myōboku… is finished."

The overwhelming force did not relent after toppling Gamabunta.

The Super Shinra Tensei surged onward, consuming everything in its path—be it the once-proud toad army, ancient mountains, or serene lakes that had stood for millennia.

Under Gensou's gaze from above, all forms of life and nature were obliterated.

The repulsive wave continued unabated until it reached the Great Toad Sage's dwelling.

For a brief moment, an unseen force resisted the assault. But even that faltered as the overwhelming pressure shattered it, allowing the destructive force to surge forward once more.

Inside the Great Toad Sage's hall,

The venerable sage let out a long sigh. "What must come will come."

Nearby, Naruto, dragged here moments ago, barely had time to catch his breath before the deafening roar of destruction reached them.

"What's happening out there?!" Naruto demanded, panic and confusion etched across his face. He tried to rush outside to see for himself, brushing off the attempts of Fukasaku and Shima to hold him back.

But as soon as Naruto stepped to the doorway, a cataclysmic shockwave slammed into him like a tidal wave.

"Whoosh!"

Naruto was hurled backward, spinning helplessly through the air.

Fukasaku and Shima tried to catch him, but the same force flung them away as well.

The Great Toad Sage, watching calmly, finally rose from his throne. Moving with unexpected swiftness, he caught the three mid-air and set them down behind him.

Turning to face the incoming wave of destruction, his ancient eyes gleamed with a rare intensity.

BOOM!

The hall collapsed entirely under the onslaught.

The disaster that consumed Mount Myōboku came and went in the span of a few heartbeats.

What had taken only the time to eat two skewers of dango had transformed one of the Shinobi World's Three Great Sage Lands into a wasteland.

The Super Shinra Tensei ended.

Smoke and dust lingered at the edges of the destruction, but the core of Mount Myōboku had gone eerily silent.

Hovering above the devastation, Gensou surveyed the aftermath.

The once-majestic landscape of lakes and mountains had been replaced by a colossal crater.

The few remnants of civilization—broken buildings and the shattered remains of toads—were scattered along the edges.

Though many toads had perished, a few still clung to life. Some were unconscious, while others, less grievously injured, clawed their way out of the rubble and dirt.

For all their strength and resilience, the toads of Mount Myōboku had been utterly defeated.

Descending from the sky, Gensou landed softly amidst the ruins.

Nearby, a crimson toad emerged from beneath a mound of dirt, struggling to breathe.

Its relief was short-lived as it spotted Gensou standing mere steps away.

The sight of him sent a violent shiver down its spine.

Under normal circumstances, the toad would have attacked without hesitation, regardless of its injuries.

But now…

It was too terrifying.

The memory of Gensou leveling Mount Myōboku with a single technique froze the toad in fear.

It wanted to fight, to summon its courage, but its body refused to move.

Gensou, appearing unaffected by the technique he had unleashed, walked past the trembling toad without a glance.

The crimson toad could only watch in silent despair as Gensou strode toward his true destination:

The ruins of the Great Toad Sage's hall.
