In the next moment, the immense senjutsu chakra within the Great Toad Sage erupted, shattering the ice that would have frozen others completely in mere seconds.

Thousands of dazzling ice crystals scattered into the air, glinting beautifully as they rained down.

Bathing in the icy shimmer, Gensou leapt forward, extending his right hand with two fingers pressed together.

The steel-like sheen of his Steel Release coated his fingers, which, combined with high-density chakra, transformed them into a razor-sharp sword. With unstoppable momentum, he aimed directly at the Great Toad Sage's chest.

Despite the massive size of the Great Toad Sage granting it advantages in chakra, strength, and durability, it lagged behind Gensou in agility.

Unable to evade in time, the sage's expression remained calm.

The next instant, the piercing screech of slicing wind accompanied Gensou's sword-like fingers striking the Great Toad Sage's chest.

For a brief moment, Gensou's expression shifted slightly.

From the sensation transmitted through his fingers, he realized the Great Toad Sage's body was far tougher than steel. Moreover, its skin exuded a slick, oily sheen that diverted some of the impact from his strike.

Despite his full-force attack, Gensou's sword fingers only managed to puncture the Great Toad Sage's defenses slightly, leaving a small wound.

A fierce gust of wind roared!

Before Gensou could react, a massive toad palm descended from above, aiming to crush him.

Raising his head, Gensou calmly observed, clenched his other hand into a fist, and punched upward.

Activating his Rinnegan, Gensou spread his hands and invoked Fūinjutsu: Kyūin.

A transparent barrier materialized before him, absorbing the incoming high-pressure water and converting it into senjutsu chakra, which flowed into his body.

As Gensou basked in the surge of energy, a massive shadow suddenly loomed beside him.

Startled, Gensou realized he had lost sight of the Great Toad Sage due to the obstructing water column.

He turned his head to see the sage, still steaming from the lava, charging at him with an unyielding expression.

"This old beast's magic resistance is even higher than I expected!" he muttered in astonishment. 

Before he could mount a defense, the Great Toad Sage's Kawazu Kumite struck him squarely, sending him hurtling like a cannonball.

Gensou crashed into Mount Myōboku's massive terrain, creating a deep crater. As he bounced off like a skipping stone, he twisted his body and forcefully grounded himself, sliding nearly fifty meters before coming to a halt.

Before he could catch his breath, the Great Toad Sage leaped across the battlefield in a single bound, descending upon him like a falling mountain.

Boom!

The sheer force of the sage's descent caused the ground within fifty meters to sink slightly before it even landed.

Simultaneously, an invisible force seemed to bind Gensou, restricting his movements.

"Shinra Tensei!"

With a burst of repulsive energy, Gensou propelled himself away just as the Great Toad Sage's massive body crashed into the ground.

Dust clouds surged into the sky, accompanied by a violent windstorm that enveloped the battlefield.

Rising to his feet, Gensou ignored the chaos around him. His Rinnegan locked onto the massive chakra entity before him.

Likewise, the Great Toad Sage observed Gensou's every move.

Amid the swirling dust and winds, the battlefield fell silent as the two adversaries stared each other down.
