Spring should almost be around the corner now that March is here, but there's a long way to go, and in my case, more cold and shoveling to go through. And as the world is being more frightening and chaotic, we all still do our best to help ourselves and those that really do need it. And this week, I still do what I can to get to work and get some new stuff done.

- Released my review of Spark: A Space Tail: Well, this turned out to be like what I expected...and it sucked pretty badly. I will say that I did surprisingly found some enjoyment from Zhong and one of those villains that just loves how evil they are and his moments genuinely make me laugh. The rest, however, is just cringe. Despite some original aspects that could work, it suffers from the generic "chosen one" plotline with an annoyingly unlikable character and a bunch of kid-friendly clichés and gags that just don't work. Unfortunately, a lot of it is just not memorable and it's not fun. It's undeniably bad, but not even bad enough that's worth remembering. I remember when some expected that I was about to review it when it came out in theaters, but looks like I didn't miss much. However, the next review will be a lot better, as I take a look at a very nostalgic picture, A Goofy Movie. It's honestly been so long since I've seen this one, but I'll definitely have a better time with that than with Spark.

- Working on the next AniMat's Classic Reviews: During the weekend, I've officially completed the next Top 10 video, which will be coming out later this month and I am so excited to show you what I got. Also, I was working on the side on a little presentation for a special private panel I was invited to for this weekend, so I was taking are of some small things like that soon afterwards. But the biggest project that I've worked on this week is the next ACR. No, not A Goofy Movie, but the one that will be after that. I can already tell that this will be a more difficult movie to review because 1. It's...special, I can say that. 2. This will require a lot of editing, and by editing, I mean a good amount of censorship will be needed. I'm still at that part as you're reading this. But with what this movie has to offer, this will probably be one of the more memorable reviews as a result.

And that's been my week so far. Sometimes, projects or review subjects that are unique in their own way do require more work to create something that can still be enjoyable for you all and to understand what I've went through with the experience. However, we are still in a new month and there's a lot of fun stuff coming your way. So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!

Indeed, Spark is a very unpleasant experience, you made a great review on that. And heck yes, I’m so excited to see your review on A Goofy Movie and the next Top 10. Keep up the excellent work Mat and have fun at the panel!

Another ACR review but this time censorship? I’m guessing it one of Ralph Bakshi movies like Fritz the Cats or Heavy Metal since those are the kind of movies that require some big censorship for the next review your doing after A Goofy Movie review

Oh I’m sure you’ll have an absolute blast with “A Goofy Movie!” That film definitely has a unique place in Disney history, especially for the time it was released. I, myself, wasn’t aware it was based on a Disney Afternoon show until I rented the DVD on Netflix (a few years before the company revolutionized home entertainment as we know it today). And prior to that, the film would frequently air on the Disney Channel.

It’s what picked but while I’m not gonna ruin the surprise I can definitely say it’s not one of Ralph bakshis movies

Oh, with how you’re going to do some censorship in the next Classic Review after “A Goofy Movie”, I feel a feeling the next animated film is going to be for adults.

Joshua Copelan

I wonder what it will be after "A Goofy Movie".

I’m looking forward to the “A Goofy Movie” review, and I’m guessing I’ll have to tag Cleve when it comes out, as I hear from Yoshi Player’s videos he’s a big fan.
