Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction and review of Clone Wars 6x13!  WHOA, this one had such an epic feel, with Palpatine and Dooku both getting involved to try and break/seduce/etc. Yoda!!!  Definitely not gonna happen though, and Yoda passes his trials well.  I loved getting to see some familiar faces (squeee!!!) and even hearing some familiar voices (aka Mark Hamill voicing Darth Bane!!)!!!  This one was action packed and cerebral all at the same time, and to end off on that massive note of hope....wow guys, it got me emotional!  Great ep and great season!  Next, we're on to the final season...!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

It's the fact that this arc showed us that Yoda solved and found out exactly what was gonna happen at the end of the clone wars. But in order to make the events of what happens in the original trilogy, happen. He couldn't do anything, he had to stay true to this path he was chosen for. Which asked him to sacrifice everything in present time to preserve the future. That thought alone, makes me sad at how much pain he felt when those events he witnessed in this ark came true. Knowing that he could've done something but it would've been worse for the future.

Oh my gosh, I know! To know this ahead of time and have to deal with the pain of just letting it all play out is really brutal!

I guess it was a really long time ago that you watched Episode 3, because that Dookus scene did not really get any reaction from you :D As i talked about last episode about the Planet Korriban, and that it appears in games. i remembered that you will try some games. So, as a Star Wars Fan, i can recommend. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, both 1 and 2. They are older games, but as fan of star wars i got so much joy out of them. And if you think that was emotional, they push all the right buttons in Season 7.

It's been quite the journey. I've really enjoyed the ride so far and I'm looking forward to your reactions to the final season of Clone Wars. All I'm gonna say is, get ready and good luck lol

kamenriderhime

Which scene with Dooku? I didn't realize there was a connection to episode 3, so yeah, I probably don't remember whatever it was they were referencing :P I feel like I played Knights of the Old Republic a really long time ago, as a little kid, and loved it! I've heard great things, thanks for the recommendation! Omg, I'm not ready for season 7 lol.

kamenriderhime

It has!!! And yay, thank you so much, I'm so happy to hear that! Oh wow haha, something tells me I'm not prepared!!!!

I love the "there is another Skywalker" line for many reasons. Firstly it tells us Anakin will be important somehow, also that another Skywalker (or two!) will come along which will be significant; and of course, it is Yoda's last words as he dies, which is what this arc is about. The last scene though is tremendous, and could only be done in animation. Of course what Yoda says is significant, but the fact the scene takes place near the sacred Jedi Tree tells a story all of its own. We see the leaves falling, some already on the ground, indicating change, that we are in Fall and Winter is approaching - indicating the rise of the time of The Sith. However as the camera fades out in the final shot, we see one of the leaves budding, suggesting Padme is pregnant, and that hope is not all lost. Masterful.

kamenriderhime

Yes!!! It makes a variety of references which is so awesome. WHOA, that is super impactful that the last scene represents the imminent fall of the Jedi and rise of the Sith, yet also the birth of....well...a new hope <3

This is my favourite of the three clone wars 'endings' because it links everything up so well.

Love this season for the way it makes sense of order 66 and the creation of the clone army. The Tup/ Fives arc and this end arc about Sifo Dyas and Yoda are some of the best of any Star Wars. And the end of this last episode, when Yoda gets back to Coruscant and talks to Obi Wan and Mace, is epic and deeply moving, especially with that music and knowing where it is leading to very soon. It’s also frustrating, as by this point the Jedi Council have most of the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle, but probably did not have a way out, and so had to continue.

kamenriderhime

Yes!!! I agree!! That moment was spectacular. It's SO frustrating that they have at least a few big chunks of the bigger picture here, but it was most likely too late by this point. Sighs!

And we’ve finally reached the second ending! You’re definitely right about Palpatine’s ritual being very similar to the Nightsisters’ magic. And a cool cameo from Mark Hamill! He actually both layers to Bane’s voice, like the bass-y echo, cause he had two different voice ideas for him. So excited for next season and Rebels after! “We’re in the endgame now”- Doctor Strange

kamenriderhime

Yes!!!! Glad you agree about Palpatine! I know, SO awesome to hear Mark Hamill!!! He does really add something, he's a genius on the mic. YAY!!!! Hope you love my Rebels reactions too!!!!

Cody

Oh I can’t wait, I believe I may have said it before but Rebels has some of my parts in all of Star Wars.
