Hi Amy!! For Rebels it's totally fine, since I'm all finished with the series! If it's a series I'm watching currently, I usually try to avoid spoilers so that I can be as surprised as possible :) It's more fun for everyone that way!!!

Cody

You were so on point about Fulcrum sounding like Ahsoka XD I was so surprised that the Grand Inquisitor died here, cause I’d heard so much hype about him and who voiced him so clearly he was important. And oh boy now we got Vader, next week’s gonna be hype!

kamenriderhime

Hahaha yay!!! XD I so seldom get these things right lol! Yeah me too, it was a twist for it to happen this fast! OMG Vader.....so much to look forward to!!

Since episode 1 you were asking about Ashoka, and what happened to her, and hoping she’d cameo and all that and I’ve been having to hold my fingers back from saying anything so I been so excited for you to hit this point in the story. And I love the subtle, not really shown aspects And just little shipping details. Hera calling Kanan “Darling” on top of always calling him “Love”. And also that Ezra sharing the TIE with Sabine and sneaking off with her to paint it. So here we go into season 2. Ashoka is here. Vader is here. The reunion is inevitable. On to ep 2! Glad to see you posted both parts!

kamenriderhime

YESSSSS!!!! FINALLY I get to see her, you did awesome holding back despite my rash of questioning about where she went and such haha. The shipping details are a nice touch! Yes, even Ezra and Sabine are having some fun shared experiences!! Omg........I'm dying for the reunion, even though I'm mega scared!!!! Yeah I could not stop at ep 1 hahaha. Glad you enjoyed!!!

Haha thats a fantastic lightsabre Melissa, hope you have fun bashing people on the noggin with it! Love this episode. Many resolutions and starting of new plots. Ok onto the big stuff first. You quite rightly Mel, deduced that Fulcrum was Ahsoka. Bail Organa got in touch with her after the Clone Wars, and she has been working in Rebel Intelligence giving missions to, and helping seed new Rebel cells across the galaxy. When this was aired, Clone Wars had ended in season 5, so the last time anyone saw her, was her leaving the Jedi Temple and the order; and those wondered what happened to her or if they would see the character again. There are clues throughout that its her though, firstly when Sabine and Hera were stranded at that base with 'the beasties', the crates marked out to pick up, have distinctive angular lines, which match Ahsoka's forehead markings. Secondly, though you can't tell from the hologram its her (she is disguising the holo as her ears, headtail and lekku would peer through the hood otherwise), you can tell its a female voice voice through the modulation. Ahsley Eckstein, Ahsoka's voice actress recorded the lines before it was scrambled; however some clever fans were able to unscramble it to reveal Ashley, and hence Ahsoka at the time. Thirdly, and this is now the most obvious one due to season 7 of Clone Wars; there Ahsoka in the last arc contacted Admiral Yularen (Anakin's Admiral) using the frequency Fulcrum, to confirm it, though she isn't the only one who has used it as we know Saw Gerrera did too. Anyway, each time she steps down the ladder, it gets me, its like seeing an old friend thats very welcome. Her voice is a lot more calm and restrained now, signifying her maturity as she is Snips no more! At the start of the episode, Sabine is diving around the Imperial ship facility causing chaos, and there are references throughout, she's done it before. In fact we have seen this, though not on the main series. Before Rebels started, there were 4 shorts made to introduce our crew, and one focussed on Sabine doing her art and blowing up ships. I'd link it, but youtube recommendations being what they are, may have spoilers for the rest of the show when you next visit there Mel. Also note the shape the ship trails make, its reminiscent of one of her logo's; and isn't too dissimilar to the actual Rebel Alliance logo down the line. You said you wanted to see the TIE ship crashed by Ezra and Zeb, well now you know what happened to it, so a nice call back! Also the Path Of The Jedi episode shows Ezra running at the start and he tells Kanan when he gets back that he was with Sabine, well the two of them were painting the ship! Also the colours and markings represent each member of the crew in some way, which is cool. So thats the Grand Inquisitor gone now (which was the source of some confusion in the Obi-Wan series when he got stabbed since we knew his fate here), and he'd rather face death, than the wrath of Vader, which we saw in the Kenobi series. You can't blame him! Oh and speaking of Vader, I love that all the shenanigans our crew have got up to, have irked the Empire so much that they keep going higher up to the big guns. First we have those two low-level officers, then Agent Kallus, then The Grand Inquisitor, then Grand Moff Tarkin, and finally Vader himself. Very bad news now for our rebels! Oh and it seems "Anakin" and Tarkin are still besties! Finally, seeing Chopper getting a guard of honour back on the Ghost is awesome, and the way he strutted up before delivering Bail's message was him saying 'yep I deserve this, bow to me my minions!' :D

I know how excited you were when she slid down the ladder and was revealed, I don't think my ears will ever recover :P But i cannot expressive what that scene felt like for us who grew up on the clone wars. You've seen other media, season 7 of the clone wars only dropped like a year ago. That moment was when we learned she survived order 66. We all hoped she had and wouldn't have been targetted because she had left the jedi order but we just did not know.

kamenriderhime

Hahahaha I'm so sorry, I forgot to add the headphone warning didn't I :P Oh I can't even imagine what it felt like! That's so true, this was before any other media revealed she survived. Wow!!!! :D

kamenriderhime

Yay!!! Thank you so much, glad you like it! I will most definitely have fun with it hehe! Also yay that I guess it was Ahsoka! Someone had mentioned the first two clues but I didn't even remember about the frequency name, whoa! Yeah the hood looked a little raised, between that and the voice I was suspicious. I can't imagine how emotional this was for fans who had no clue what'd happened to her. I'll hold off on the shorts but that's interesting to know there's some footage of Sabine's art! Haha I was not disappointed by that TIE! Oh I can see how folks who had already seen Rebels were even more confused on the whole Obi-Wan situation! Yeah I mean at least his death here was quick, as opposed to whatever Vader would've done! Yeah, our crew has climbed right up the ladder of Empire bad guys in terms of getting attention lol. OMG nooooo Anakin and Tarkin being besties made me sick back then, and it still does!!!!!! Hahaha Chopper was SO proud!!!!!!! As he should be!!!

Saltire

Yeah I loved your Clone Wars Citadel reactions whenever Tarkin and Anakin would speak to each other, and be in almost agreement; so we can see they've continued that joyous working relationship when the Empire formed! At least they are happy, you can so tell! :P

kamenriderhime

I'm so glad you enjoyed them lol!! Ugh, what's so frustrating is that it just couldn't be more true that they fit together so well as friends/colleagues....even then....and especially now, ugggghhhhhhhhhh >.< LOL.

Manny

Wow I didn't want to believe it and let myself down if it wasn't Ahsoka but here she is!!!! And Vader I'm hoping it also doesn't come down to Ahsoka and Vader 😬🤞

Manny

Also yes I flipping love ur lightsaber! It's awesome i love how its turned out so far. It's a must for me right now I have to get started on making my own. The force is strong with me 🤯

kamenriderhime

Ahhh I hear you!!! It's such an awesome turn of events!!! Ahhhh I know, I'd both love and hate to see Vader vs. Ahsoka :/ OMG!!! I'm so happy you love my lightsaber!!! Thank you!!! You should totally make your own! You're super strong in the force :D I just got a Dollar Store pool noodle and cut about 1/3 of it off. It was super fun even before I put on the crocheted part!!!!!!!!!!! XD

Well, let’s get started on my second week of catch up, cause things pile up if I let them slide… 😅 Nice lightsaber, I get the funny feeling you weren’t expecting an Arts and Crafts episode but as soon as they said, we do have a TIE fighter, I was immediately thinking, of course you didn’t blow it up. Maybe you and Sabine should compare notes. Although, I do gotta wonder if you could paint your own TIE fighter, what WOULD it look like? I think the Stormtroopers are getting tired of getting picked on, when the explosion’s about to go off, he just says “not again…!” Hazard pay, anyone? The Kanan/Ezra/Inquisitor fight looks a lot like the Darth Maul fight in Episode I. Also I do have to chuckle when you’re rationalizing how everyone’s going to be safe and get cut off mid sentence when Ezra falls off the edge. Which brings me to a bit of a gripe: I’m sorry but… he falls onto a ledge almost right beneath and out conveniently, yet neither Kanan or the Inquisitor see it until the show decides to reveal it. Seems like kind of a cheap parlor trick to me, is everyone just blind here? I recall another show where falling off had a lot more serious outcome… 🙃 What is the Inquisitor so afraid of…? When the TIE fighter swoops in and takes out several Imperial TIEs it reminded me of when Solo saves Luke in Episode IV but this time they’re using the ship Vader was piloting. I recognized the fleet as rebel ship designs. Not nearly as familiar with Ahsohka as you are but she’s clearly a pivotal character. Seen her pop up once or twice in the shows I’ve watched to date. Good call guessing by the way. (Mutters under his breath, “there’s gonna be no living with you after this, is there?” 😅) Is it wrong for me to be that much more interested when Vader shows up, even if it means trouble for everyone, cause he just makes things do much more interesting. I should get on, I have a lot more to cover!

kamenriderhime

I'm glad you're getting caught up! Hope you've enjoyed all my reactions! Thanks about my lightsaber hehe! OMG, I'd love to get crafty with Sabine! My TIE fighter would for sure be painted in pastel rainbow colors, with drawings tiny kawaii cats added to it. :P Hahahaha poor stormtroopers!!! Like how often do they go through this haha. I can see the comparison to the Darth Maul fight!! LOL I should learn to just not jinx things by saying them out loud!!! And OMG way to bring back all the pain by mentioning THAT falling off instance......!!! Hehehe. I feel like the Inquisitor is probably scared of Vader?? Oh yeah I can see the comparison to Episode IV too! Hahahah you know I'll milk this victory for all its worth, I mean how often do I actually get things right?!?! :P Gotta enjoy it while I can...!!! Ahsoka is a pretty big part of Clone Wars, yes! Oh yeah, I mean Vader spells danger and trouble for everyone, but darned if he's not captivating to watch on screen!!! Looking forward to your other comments!
