Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 6 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!  NOOOO!!!!  Please, please please tell me that what's going on in the JTF isn't real...!!!  Did we just lose some major characters?!  As well as watch the whole capital city get torched?!?!  WTH!!!!!!!!!!!  Meanwhile, Rimuru is in grave danger, possibly for the first time ever since arriving to this world, facing off against Hinata.  If they could only talk it out, she'd see that he's actually carrying on Shizu's legacy!!!!  But depending on how the whole last strike thing goes....I honestly have no clue if we'll ever get the chance....what if he just gets reincarnated again?!!?!?!?!  Cannot believe the show exploded like this, wow!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I think it was around this episode i lost interest with season 2. Because things start happening, without much explanation why, and how things will turn out. I heard that some stuff from the manga was left out that fleshes out some explanations. Still i watched it weekly because i wanted to know how the story will end, some episodes where fun. Mostly i was disappointed in character decisions. But yes, Rimuru seems i a bad situation with a fanatic that doesn't listen. Funny that sentence works for both the City called Rimuru and the Character

Hi Hime :) Your sense of smell is intact, you smelled the ship well. I couldn't help but chuckle hearing you make a cute noise when you saw Koby the kobold. Gobta is the real MVP, he understood the situation and diverted the atmosphere with a few words and gestures. He has grown well. Youm is a chad, he won the heart of Mjuran even though he was controlled by Clayman. And I have to admit, his maneuvers are super smooth to go about. I knew you weren't ready for this arc and your reactions confirm it to me, but if it reassures you, I was as shocked as you following these episodes. It's not for nothing that I got season 2 in 2 days after all ^^ (especially with its cliffhanger). In any case, we will be there to hold your hand along this difficult path...

Hinata serves the god of the Western Holy Church. The country run by the Church is Lubelius. She has positions in both the church and the nation, but she values most her position directly serving the god Luminus. Hinata has a predictive skill, which is why she could easily counter Rimuru's attacks. When Rimuru's abilities were sealed off, he used Resist and was able to retain the use of Gluttony and Great Sage. Only the magic-based skills were sealed off. The Otherworlders haven't met Hinata, she has a rep as the strongest (human at least). Remember I talked about their arrogance last ep? How many times did Gobta call Hakurou 'old man' in this series? During the battle he called him 'master'....... We'll get through this together, don't despair (despite the name of the next episode). You will probably be feeling some things you might not expect. Can't get any more specific. Hugs.

“This show is not about that, it’s about cute… happiness… and…” Me: *Cough* Volume 3 *Cough* Okay jesting aside, first they recapped the goodbye with the kids so the chronology is kind of out of whack in the last couple of episodes, but it appears they’re both happening at the same time. I also noticed as soon as Chloe was given the mask she stopped crying and turned around like “Look what I got!” I think she might be a little more devious than she’s letting on. The whole setup with the Otherworlders was simply to justify the army attacking. It seems that the anti magic field dnd the prison field are having quite an effect on the JTF citizens but the humans seem to be immune. Which brings me to my next point… Rimuru has forged a lot of alliances, some with humans even. Now would be a pretty darn good time for someone to call in those favors. As far as Gobzo, Hakurou and Shion - only one I’m putting genuine concern in right now as Hakurou because he was bleeding out. Where did the Lizardmen take all those hi potions? When you cut away and don’t show what happens on the other end of the swing it’s like, yeah until I see concrete results, I’m not gonna believe it. Especially with a character like Shion. Gobzo, not so sure since he was a minor character but he was protecting Shuna, which might actually be even MORE of a concern. I’m pretty sure this is actually happening though, sorry to burst your bubble. I kind of knew what was driving Hinata already as her motivations are revealed in one of the in between season OVAs. But it does seem she’s the first time Rimuru has faced a challenge. She’s also not willing to even listen, which makes things that much harder for Rimuru. Speaking of that where is she getting this intel? We know it’s someone who was watching him as he was creating JTF, and knows he’s Japanese. Because telling her that, she was ready to dismiss it immediately. So I guess it’s time to start thinking about who Rimuru’s met who knows both of these things. As far as the end of the episode, I don’t worry too much about cliffhangers but you did bring up an interesting point: if Gluttony activated (it did, but was it in time?) soon enough to absorb both the attack and Hinata, could that mean he unintentionally absorbed her and she could encounter Shizu? Basically a lot of people have gotten headstrong here. Assuming Rimuru gets out of this mess, what’s going to happen when he sees what’s happened to the JTF? I don’t think we’ve ever seen him actually get angry… but this might do it! Anyway, those are my thoughts. Do you need to go get some Crimuru Puffs now after all that? 😅

We just built an entire peaceful haven of a nation so it would hurt much more when things turned into complete disarray. It's so devastating 😢

Hmm, interesting! I can see how they may have sped things along a bit, particularly with Mjurran because I was kinda surprised they'd developed such feelings for each other off screen. Haha yes those words could be taken either way!

Hahahaha too true in regards to your coughing fit! Good call about Chloe lol, I didn't notice that. And yeah, the timing seems to go back and forth a bit. Right, the Otherworlders were there to provoke. Omg seriously, we need to call in some backup! Exactly, cutaways tell me it's not the end! But Hakurou...!!! Ugh, I was really hoping it wasn't actually happening! Yes, Hinata's a big challenge for Rimuru in terms of power and also not being reachable through talking it seems. Yeah where on earth is the intel coming from?! Who else knows he's Japanese? The kid who runs the school, and who else...?? I'll have to think about it. OHHH I thought about this after the ep, since Shizu technically got absorbed, will she encounter her in there?!?! If that is indeed what happened. That's the thing, even if Rimuru makes it out, with the state the JTF is in.....things are gonna get real! AHHHH I need a Crimuru Puff...or 3 or 4 >.<
