Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction to episode 146!  OMG!!!!!!!!  How, how on earth did we get TWO MAJOR EMOTIONAL SCENES in this ep?!!?!  Gon FINALLY gets to meet Ging, and his first words are a tearful apology, which Ging has NO IDEA what to do with haha, the tears at least.  But now Gon has a new mission to go apologize to Kite.  Loved how everyone ganged up on Ging lol!!  Also, Pariston was really just toying with everyone this whole time, dang!!  And to top it all off, we get a powerful scene where Killua makes a tough decision to protect Alluka....but Nanika is a person who needs to be protected too!!!  I honestly wasn't unsure until this moment!!!
And now this whole mess with the Zoldycks is over, phew!  Wow guys, what an ep!
Enjoy!!  ~ MH

So, like, if I don't watch these reactions, you never actually finished the series, right? Cause that's how it works.... right?!?!?! It's uncomfortable to think about, and I think it really just boils down to the intensity of the arc, and not having the time to really think about it. But because of the Zoldycks' influence, it's fairly common for everyone to either see Nanika as evil, or just not someone as equally important as Alluka; since she's not human, and very-very dangerous. "Alluka is Killua's sister, but Nanika is from someplace else, holding the power to destroy the family." Which, both statements about Nanika IS true. But it's not until the episode Killua calls Nanika kinder than anyone, that it isn't really apparent to us, the audience, that Nanika not only wants love, but is deserving of love as much as the next person. Even still, this episode always hits like a cement truck, and I'm over here bawling. As for hunters in general, you pretty much summed it up. Because they are so incredibly skilled at their individual passions, especially when there's overlap like with Pariston and Ging, you can't help but recognize each other's dedication, through time and energy put into said hunt. That's why Pariston said he trusts Ging; he's a very powerful opponent, and if you bet against Ging, it's safe to assume you're in for a rude awakening. Ging is more reliable than a carnival psychic, after all ;P Speaking of Pariston though, he did genuinely respect Netero. So, when he tells Cheadle what to do a little bit there, and that if the Association becomes boring under her leadership? It's something that Pariston would actually take personally. Which, I agree, sounds as weird as him trusting people, weirder even. But skill recognizes skill, I guess?

Hahahaha I actually do that all the time with last episodes of things....like if I never watch it, it never ended!!! :P That's a great point that until this point we don't really realize that Nanika is in fact a person who is also deserving of love. Such a great episode!! Yes, there's that mutual respect as hunters!! Hahaha betting against Ging is definitely not a good idea! Yes, there's actually a deep connection there from Pariston to Netero, which is interesting. It kinda makes sense in a twisted sort of way lol!
