Hey everyone!  Here's my next reaction to MHA!  OH HEEEECK NO!!!!!  I'm sorry, but if you think this show is gonna come in here and do what they just tried to do....I'm gonna go into straight DENIAL MODE!!!  First off, we had Aizawa chopping of his leg, which I think really set the tone for the ep lol.  Izuku is just in total rage mode and making these OFA moves look easy!!!  I loved the flashback that showed how he trained too.  And then there's Bakugo....contemplating his strained relationship with Izuku over the years, wanting the chance to tell him how he feels....and I think he just did :((((  THIS HAD BETTER NOT STICK OR I WILL HULK SMASH THIS WORLD!!!!
Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Bakugo is my absolute favorite character in MHA

That's awesome, good choice! He's amazing.......hoping and praying this isn't the end!!!!!!!!! >.<

Hi Hime :) I warned that this episode was not going to be good for your tension lol. Aizawa who cuts his leg at the start and the end with Bakugo impaled, how to start and end an episode 101... But yes, when we see Izuku and Bakugo now and the evolution of their relationship, we can only appreciate the writing work. The rivalry/friendship has already been written many times in manga, Goku and Vegeta, Naruto and Sasuke to name a few, but Izuku and Bakugo are at this level. And if you thought Izuku was in rage mode after the attack on Gran Torino, injured Aizawa showed that there was still some leeway, so now that Bakugo is injured... I think you see where I'm coming from, we relive Krillin's death and the awakening of the super sayajin or Sasuke protecting Naruto from Haku's attacks, awakening the fox demon in him, it's THAT kind of moment.

Aak! I hit delete instead of edit! The shorter version of what I just typed is: I'd been looking forward to your reaction since I saw the episode. (I was curious how many NO's we would get.) I think what makes this season so harrowing is that very few of the dramatic moments we've seen are definitely FINAL. We're left wondering what whether this person or that person will be ok, what will become of all the villains, and what the aftermath will be. So worry can't give way to sadness or relief; it can only keep building as more things happen. And it's all taking place in one day. My big question: How can Izuku ever get a moment's rest, as long as Shigaraki can pinpoint his location and destroy everything he touches?

Cody

Don’t think I have to explain that I was…not okay after this episode. Thank god I didn’t see the title cause that would’ve ruined it. And that hit Endeavor too! I swear, if we just lost both of them in one hit…

Nathan Poulain Cigrand

okay so I don't have much to say about that episode...when I started MHA, I couldn't stand Bakugo and wished so hard for his death...and here I am now, crying because Bakugo could possibly die by Shigaraki....good job, author! Good reaction, see you next time :,)

kamenriderhime

Hi Spadeas! :) OMG you weren't kidding!! They sandwiched the ep with violence lol. So true, we've seen rivalry/friendships before but this one really hits different. Oh my gosh yes, I can totally see how this will trigger something like never before in Izuku!!!! The references are on point!!!

kamenriderhime

Oh no, I have your original comment in my email if you want me to re-paste it! Hahha I was pretty full of no's :D That is such a great point - they've kept us hanging!!! The tension just keeps building like you said. Crazy to think of how fast this is all happening! Oof, that's an excellent point about Izuku....and just how long can he keep up at this level with no rest at all???? :O

kamenriderhime

I hear you!!! Oh I know, the title gave me an inkling that he'd be somewhat the focus but I was still shocked. Oh no, it did?!!? I'll see it again when I edit it. Yikes!!! There's no way!!!!!!!

kamenriderhime

Omg, I hear you completely!!! I could not stand Bakugo for the longest time until somehow he just grew on me and took root in my heart!! Yup, that's called good storytelling right there!! Thanks so much, hope you love my next reaction too!

2022-12-31 00:13:08 This episode was insane. I liked your thoughts at the start of the video and I can relate to the stress you were feeling. I love that thinking about Eri is what gives Aizawa the resolve to cut off his own leg. It’s not just his students that need him Eri needs him to help with her power. It was hard to watch but cutting off his leg is the most metal thing in this show. Even Shigaraki cannot help but think he’s cool and in the dub calls him a bad ass. It makes sense that Eraser would get distracted but it’s unlucky. Although it’s a miracle Ryukyu didn’t get disintegrated since Shigaraki was touching her. The first person perspective of the clawing at the eyes was disturbing/very unsettling. If it wasn’t for Izuku and Todoroki’s interference I think Aizawa would have lost both his eyes but he is out of the fight. Shigaraki referring to himself as the inevitable is such a good line & makes me think of a certain character from the MCU. Hearing the news of all the cities Gigantomachia’s rampaging through was horrifying and chilling especially seeing the people just going about their day. It must have been so disheartening for the kids to have done so much and seeming to have failed. It was hard to see all the heroes on the ground defeated. Talking about what the right choice was and if there might have been a different choice is what a lot of the characters and audience are thinking about and it’s no surprise they showed Hawks when saying it with what’s happening with him this season. Things have gotten even more dire. Seeing Deku so enraged is something we have never seen before and I love how he is animated and even the voice acting sounds different from what we have heard from him before. I knew Shigaraki only being at 75% would come back and it saved everyone which is something to thank Mirko for. It’s interesting to see Izuku crying, angry and trying to smile all at once. I love having yet another parallel between Izuku & Shigaraki with him being in the same position Izuku was and to some degree still is In having too much power inside that it is damaging their bodies. The reveal of Deku using float is great especially the uplifting music and the stylized text. I love Gran Torino seeing his friends quirk again although I am afraid he will still die by the end of the arc. It’s hard to admit but the line about sending Izuku to heaven is good. I love the flashback & Uraraka with her hair up is adorable. It was really clever of All Might to preemptively get ready for float by having Ochako teach Izuku. Also I am sure many others think this but All Might’s track suit is awesome. This conversation between Bakugo & All Might in my opinion is the best scene of dialogue in the story and there has been so much great dialogue already. I think the plan to continue to keep one for all secret was fine but in the end it was just delaying things. I like talking about good people also wanting power may be thinking it would be better in their hands. I had the same thought as you when Bakugo realizes All Might is being secretive about the 4th holders death that all for one is some kind of curse. It definitely has something to do with the circumstances of the death but I heard the idea in another reaction I watched that the 4th user was a villain or something. I love the introspection/self reflection from Bakugo here it was very emotional. We mostly understood how he felt and why he treated Izuku so badly in the past but hearing it articulated meant so much. All Might talking about not being able to look back on the past until now is sad because it connects to what he gave up becoming the symbol of peace as well as Nighteye’s death. Izuku destroying his body is awesome and scary. The fact that he doesn’t care about himself is what’s worrying Bakugo the most since we can see Deku is literally killing himself to fight and keep Shigaraki restrained in the air. Thankfully because he is able to handle higher percentages these injuries probably aren’t as bad as back in season 3 it’s not much of a silver lining but it’s better than nothing. With how the story has talked about dreams being important and in a positive light it’s interesting for Izuku’s character that he’s talking about ending someone’s dream. Bakugo’s plan here was really smart. I like the little moment with Rock lock because even though it sucks they aren’t kids in this moment & I enjoy seeing his respect for Deku again. Prominence burn being used against Shiggy is one of the most brutal things in the show so far mostly because of the screaming. All for one appearing to him definitely deserves a big no but the transfer being represented as a television turning off is great. All of Bakugo’s memories of his relationship with Izuku & what one for all represents leading up to the big moment of the episode were presented so well. It’s so sad but beautiful that he has now reached the point of heroism that was within him & Izuku has always had with the theme of your body moving without thinking. Thankfully the stabs aren’t in fatal areas and even the worst of it is okay because of the world this story takes place in. Also the completely burned body is disturbing & makes me think of a moment with a character you love from attack on Titan. It’s so emotional that Bakugo is thinking back to Izuku reaching out a hand to him when they were kids wishing he had taken it and the image in the ending credits of a deeply regretful Bakugo just added to the emotion. I relate do your denial & emotions after this episode in the discussion. Awesome reaction. Keep the great work. :-) <3
