Hey everyone! Here's my next reaction to MHA! OMG!!! Getting to see Nana and little bro protecting Izuku inside OFA was pretty spectacular! I loved hearing more about how the quirk-passing works. And to think AFO and Shigaraki were in there too...what a moment! It looks like the fight is off for now, but we've still got plenty of problems to deal with, mostly Machia! And Toga is in total grief/rage mode when she confronts Uraraka....what a mess, I can't even be mad at her because I see how much things can suck on both sides. Oh yeah, AND STILL NO WORD ON BAKUGO >.< Can't wait for more! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Hi Hime :) Izuku and Tomura's appearance in the world of OFA somehow represents how well they master their quirks. Tomura being at 75% he is almost complete in this world, but Izuku is not there yet. We can also see that Tomura fights against AFO, while Izuku on the contrary has the support of the old owners. Two sides of the same coin. It also allows to show the difference in level between the two once again, Izuku being behind, but that this one exceeds to the point of finally being able to move, shows that he appropriates his power even more and catches up with Tomura step by step . The "form" of Izuku taken by rage, is also a taste of what his appearance could be once OFA mastered and the power of the other seven mastered. Just teasing from the author lol. Ochaco against Toga, I was waiting for this confrontation, because for once, Ochaco is alone against an opponent, but she is far from being a damsel in distress, we have already seen it during her fight against the class B. And then I have to say that I agree with Toga on that, I love Ochaco.

Hi Spadeas! :) Interesting! Yeah they're for sure two sides of the same coin. Izuku's definitely a bit farther behind, but he's definitely making progress!! Whoa, that was a great tease of what OFA could look like one day! Yeah our girl can handle herself for sure!! She's awesome haha!

2022-12-31 00:13:08 What a great episode with lots of important information. I both love and hate that we get to see what happens from Izuku’s perspective. Also the impact sound effects of the stabs was the worst. I think it’s so fitting that Bakugo tells Deku not to fight by himself when he used to be the one who did that a lot. It is so messed up that all for one calls all of the terrible things that have happened unnecessary like they were just supposed to give up. Izuku was already angry so hearing this stuff pushed him over the edge. Seeing him in berserker mode as I saw others call it is awesome and terrifying especially how his face looks surrounded by darkness. He was absolutely savage/feral fighting here and it was almost like Shigaraki was scared. The Phantom of AFO appearing over Shigaraki’s face is a fantastic piece of imagery. Todoroki probably thought Izuku was going to die when he got touched since he wouldn’t understand why Shigaraki would want to steal his quirk instead of just killing him in this situation. All the colors rushing towards the screen as they enter the vestige realm is so cool. Also we can see more of Deku in this place now showing his improvement with the power. I think it’s so interesting and such good writing that all for one and Shigaraki is like a parasitic relationship while Izuku and the other one for all users is a symbiotic relationship. I think the answer to your question about if they are inside one for all or all for one is kinda both. A battle within the mind is always a great concept & Nana appearing next to him to help is so cool. The fact that things have just continued to get worse since the first fight against the league is scary. The line about shadows and the sun reminds me I think purposefully about all might saying the greater the light the stronger the darkness when he first explains about all for one and the origins of one for all back in season 2. Also nice bit of imagery accompanying that with all the debris/dust blocking the sun. Machia’s sense of smell is insane being able to sense souls I think. The interactions of the specific characters inside the vestige world is something you think could never happen which is one of the things that makes this situation so interesting. Nana being so buff is really attractive to be honest it’s a little distracting for me LOL. All for one always goes for the low blows to make people hurt as much as he can like calling Nana incompetent, pitiful and later calling Izuku useless. The transference concept is extremely interesting especially learning about people’s consciousness existing within quirks. I didn’t need it but having a more specific explanation about the vestiges and this spirit world was appreciated with how it connected to the way both powers work. All for one is probably happy it’s transference so he doesn’t have to face even the possibility he might feel any sort of guilt. It is really sad but Shigaraki hating his grandmother makes sense since it was the reason his father was terrible even if it’s not the whole story the results are the same. It’s impressive that his anger is strong enough to affect a power like one for all. I love how important willpower is in this show. All for one being happy & almost proud that Tomura hates him too is messed up. The all for one power manifesting as holes on the hands might be connected to Jesus being nailed to the cross in religious imagery since all for one is meant to be the ultimate evil I only saw this in a comment so I don’t know if it’s confirmed but it’s an interesting detail if true. I love the speech about Izuku’s mindset and how admirable his desire to save people is it shows how much belief the vestiges have in him. I think this speech along with Deku moving through sheer force of will is the first time we have seen all for one not smiling. It’s crazy to see how much power was released when they exited the vestige world as well as the fact all of this took place in the span of a couple seconds or less. Izuku seeing all of this makes you wonder if it will let him see the humanity in Shigaraki and want to save him even if a part of him will always hate all the hurt Shigaraki causes especially to his loved ones even if the story doesn’t go in that direction it’s an interesting thought. I almost forgot to talk about Iida’s great moment wanted to help his friends remembering all of the stuff with Stain. Also it was not what he meant but he says of his 3 classmates 2 of them are great friends so people making jokes like oh and Bakugo like he’s an afterthought which is pretty funny. I love the conversations the league had with each other this episode because it makes it even clearer that they care for each other. I like that Compress is considerate of Toga’s feelings wanting to know her opinion of the plan since it could end up hurting people she loves. I think it’s so interesting to see her questioning things. Her worldview is shaken because heroes are not supposed to kill no matter what so seeing hawks a hero is making her wonder about the ideals of Izuku & Ochako. After all she is a follower of Stain and from everything she has seen they represent the true heroes he advocated for so I think she’s wondering if she was wrong about them. Spinner’s dialogue here is great and I think part of it was to make sure she did not feel alone in her sadness. I love the relationships between the characters in the league. Also Machia going 60 mph is not the scariest part it’s the fact that something so big is going that fast. I really respect the heroes being willing to die to save the people in danger because the heroes failed. I think we all realized it was Toga in disguise as the old lady trying to get Uraraka alone however an old lady being this fast would not be that strange in the MHA world. The scene in the abandoned house was really unsettling/creepy especially with the ticking clock. I love seeing Ochako’s determination here but it’s a tense place to end the episode. I think the heroes and villains are both understandable and that is really great writing. Awesome reaction & keep up the great work. :-) <3

This one was so intense!!! I agree about the sound effects and also the audacity of AFO's line about everything being unnecessary. Good point that Todoroki wouldn't have had a clue about the quirk stealing. Also berserker mode was quite a sight to see! Thanks for clearing that up and such a great point about the difference in the relationships of OFA and AFO. Machia can sense souls?! Yikes!! The explanation was nice, I agree, and Nana's pretty built lol. Oh good call about the possible religious imagery there too, I didn't catch that. It's so sad that the result ended up being the same, just delayed a bit, with Nana's family situation. And messed up that Shigaraki has this connection to AFO yet he hates him. Great point about Izuku possibly seeing the humanity in Shigaraki as we've seen that now in later eps. Iida had a great moment too! Haha poor Bakugo! And yeah I know, they've got me so conflicted on all the League stuff. Makes sense she'd need to sort things out with some heroes who are, erm, friends of hers. The relationships are so great and whenever we're seeing just the League I can't help but feel for them and root for them in a way. True, older people might be a bit more spry in this world haha, plus she wouldn't have any clue it could be Toga. The abandoned house was a great creepy atmosphere for sure. Couldn't agree more about the writing!!! Thank you so much for your kind words and sorry it took me a while to write back!!!! :D
