Hey everyone!  Here's my next reaction to MHA!  OMG!!!!!!  We get to see firsthand just how things went down with Toya....and wow, was it messed up!  I respect that now that they've started a redemption arc with Enji, they haven't tried to undo or retcon any of his abuse in the past.  He truly made some terrible mistakes and in a way, Toya never stood a chance.  I admire the Todorokis so much for each wanting to make up for the part they played too, though....even to the point that they're willing to help the person who made their lives so miserable for so many years!
Same with the heroes - now THAT'S what being a hero is, seeing someone for who they are but ALSO seeing they need help, and doing it!  My respect for Hawks has gone up so much as well.  Also, I KNEW it that Izuku must be with the other OFA vestiges!!!  Can't wait to see what's going on in there!!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) It's sad to say that this family has been bound by obsession, hope and despair from the start. But if I want to be optimistic, I can say that after all that, chances are she will reform. After all, Enji is aware of his mistakes and seeks to redeem this from the depths of his heart, the flowers that Rei holds are the ones she loved, but above all, the ones he sent her to the hospital, so he hold on to her anyway. As an example we have the fact that the first thing he says to her when he sees her is to know if she is fine. He has made a lot of progress. Rei has accepted her own wrongs and moved on, she has already started to reconnect with Shoto and now Fuyumi and Natsuo. She also says that the obsession with Enji ended up disgusting her, but that may not have been the case at the beginning and with Enji's changes, even her two there can start again on new, more solid bases. Shoto also took a big step forward by accepting his father's legacy and even working with him. It is sometimes said that fire purifies and can nourish the earth so that it is reborn stronger after a forest fire. We also talk about the phoenix rising from its ashes. Even though Enji had already prepared the embers, Dabi by burning Endeavor's life, may have made the Todoroki family stronger. I can't help but think of another family with an abusive father seeing this, the Schnee family. Replace Shoto with Weiss, and you have almost the same dynamic, except that Jacques will never have time to improve, since Ironwood has atomized him...

This is...Perfection. I shall rename the show: My Perfect Episode xD Everything I wanted in the last ep, I got it now. So hyped for the next one! I don't remember if you said it on a past video, but is your makeup waterproof? I don't dare to count how many times I've seen you shed tears (and even less making it a drinking game xD), but maybe the investment would be worthwhile ^^ Anyway, loved your reaction, and I'm gonna wait the next one with (little) patience, see you soon :)

Yay!!!! So glad you enjoyed it! Hahaha no my makeup is not waterproof sadly :P You'd think by now I would have invested in it for sure!!!! Good thinking!! Thank you so much!!! I'm so happy to hear it and hope you love my next reaction!!!!

Hi Spadeas! :) So true! I think there's hope as well. Maybe now that we've all grown and changed, we could start off fresh! Shoto took huge strides towards healing himself and also some of the family issues, which is awesome. Great analogy about the phoenix flames!!! Omg, this is so similar to the Schnee family!!!!! Jacuqes didn't get a chance at redemption and I'm not sure if he would have ever gone down that path, but otherwise, it's eerily similar!!!

Spadeas

Just to answer about Jacques, I think he could have improved, he understood his mistakes (he does say to James "we both loose"), and the fact that Weiss shows him a semblance of kindness by not giving up on him when Atlas is about to fall (Winter tells him it was Weiss's decision) also seems to make him realize that despite what he did to him, Weiss was willing to give him a chance. Too bad we'll never see that.

kamenriderhime

I definitely see what you mean! I don't believe anyone is just beyond the point of no return, especially if they'd had a "redemption" arc that was done well. Very good point that he did recognize Weiss' mercy towards him. Oh well!!! I guess we'll never know now!
