Hey everyone!  Here I am with Red vs. Blue, season 13, eps 1 - 4 plus last season's after credits!  Whoa, Maine's helmet has been recovered, we're getting to see how Felix and Locus are prepping for war, our crew is working with both sides at Chorus to try and keep the new peace, etc.!  Great idea bringing the counselor back in....that's gonna spell bad news for our crew though!  Also, I'm really excited that they're bringing back the alien stuff!!!  Of all the things we've revisited, we've never really gone back to that one in detail.  Should be interesting!  And of course you guys, shenanigans abound!!!  Can't wait for more!  Great eps!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

One interesting thing about Felix is that he doesn't really lie. "You won't find anyone else on this ship" Locus was invisible. "I'm not going to kill you" Locus killed Stassney. "We'll let you off the ship" He sent em into space, technically not on the ship anymore.

Just finished an 11 hour stream but Im staying awake for this now!

While Felix is a literal piece of trash you can’t say he isn’t a charming piece of trash. I kind of think on some level Miles writes and acts his role as sadistically as he dies because after being the nice guy this long sometimes you want to cut loose and be the villain. It’s like “I know you hate this character but I’m going to make it so you ENJOY hating this character.” As far as the person at the end of the first episode, it really takes a lot of detail studying to get it this early and you need to have had a good recollection of previous seasons. All I will tell you for now about them is the clues are in the tattoos. It’s kind of funny how Washington was all set to yell at Paloma but ended up relating to him instead… also trying to teach Grif a lesson by punishing others I don’t think is going to have the same effect you’re desiring… “No fighting in the armory or I don’t give you a gun!” Okay, but seriously there are some deep-seeded issues between the Feds and the Rebels - you can’t just turn off a switch of hatred overnight even if it was entirely manipulated. Even Kimball and Doyle aren’t exactly seeing eye to eye. This is going to take a lot more compromise… This aired before Volume 3 but am I the only one who picked up on the irony that Dr. Grey was complaining about someone whining to her they didn’t want a robot arm? Speaking of VAs “cutting loose” from other roles… XD So they gave Caboose a gun for five seconds and Emily had her busiest day at the hospital ever… so now Freckles is in charge of the gun and when Caboose tries to pull the trigger it just shoots confetti. Like when he yelled “Is that Church?” it went off automatically. Yup, about right. It also should be noted Jensen in cars is a scenario at least equal to or not worse than Joseph Joestar in an airplane. “The sword is a key? Don’t be ridiculous…” “Maybe it’s a key all the time… and when you stick it in people, it unlocks their death.” So somehow, a trinket from Season 3 has become a key cog ten years later… but how is it connected, why did all the weapons suddenly turn on and then off again, and who is eating all the food in the mess hall? PS: I though something might’ve been missing regarding the end if S12 but I couldn’t find it earlier, but glad somebody did. RT did a lot of “adjusting” to their earlier RvB videos, unfortunately. Stay tuned, we’ve got a lot more to do this season!

kamenriderhime

I mean, that's the thing! He's many things but not exactly a liar, at least not in that instance. :P

kamenriderhime

Oh my gosh!!!! Thank you for still watching even after such a long stream!!! Hope you loved my reaction!!

kamenriderhime

Hahah I couldn't agree more, there is so much charisma in the sliminess of Felix's character!!! So true, it must be nice to cut loose and be the villain for a bit. And yes, that's exactly how I feel....like I'm enjoying hating this character haha. Interesting about that person they showed...I'm glad it's at least not something super obvious that I missed! Haha I know, the yell-to-relatability moment was funny. And yeah, Grif's really not gonna have the correct response to that! HAHAHA the armory is no place for violence, I love it! That's the thing, it's not like there weren't issues here to begin with, so it's gonna take a lot for them to get on board with a true peace. LOL!!!!!!!!! A Yang-esque pun about the robot arm situation? Magnifique :D HAHAHAHAHA when the gun started going off after the Church mention, that was soooo good! I love the whole Freckles/confetti gun situation in general! LOL Jensen's situation is totally a Joseph/airplane one! Ohhhh that key line came back in a big way! Big questions in terms of the key sword, the aliens, and of course who's eating all the food. Oh no worries about the after credits!!! I know they did a lot of adjusting on the YouTube videos!!! I can't wait for more!!!! :D

Manny

Tucker’s got the moves maybe he is a lady killer after all🕺

2023-06-30 23:11:30 I love the start of season 13 this set is great. Malcolm Hargrove having the Meta’s helmet as the after credits of season 12 was crazy & had all sorts of theories going around when it came out it was fun. They did a great job with episode 1 of setting an ominous tone with the distress signal in the silence of space. It seems like the soldiers chosen to watch this prison ship are not the smartest, strongest or most motivated because the UNSC doesn’t care to use their really good soldiers to guard prisoners. Being deadly and enjoying the terrible things he does is scary enough but the scariest thing is how charming Felix is. He can easily worm his way into any group and get what he wants which is probably 1 of the reasons Malcolm hired him. Also these soldiers aren’t characters that you’re going to love or anything but they are likable enough that you will probably be at least a little sad to see them die. The fact that the soldiers lasted as long as they did is impressive they were trying their best especially when they were such a small crew. And he technically didn’t even lie just was very specific with the things he said. Honestly this was a great plan to get soldiers who would fight as hard as they can for freedom and money. Testing their motivation with the hands on the bars or get launched into space thing is crazy but hey if it works it works. I love that from a writing standpoint this was used as a way to bring the Counselor back into the story characters aren’t forgotten in this show. And unfortunately for our characters he is a very useful/dangerous asset to Malcolm’s side. I like that they had Malcolm on the news since we know he is in the public eye and with a very on the nose quote. Yeah the clue for who this prisoner is was very small. And yes this being cinematic was great. Being able to make the drama this great is a testament to the great writing. Also they should really start trusting/paying attention to Caboose’s feelings you would think they would know better by now LOL. Poor Phillys having to work for Malcolm she sounds so tired/sad. It’s really interesting to see how things have changed since the armies have come together with the tensions still high and the small clashes which shows how successful Malcolm and the mercenaries have been at dividing this planet. I think it’s funny and sweet that Washington doesn’t know how to deal with Palomo’s nervousness & fear of failing his friends being a good reason why his skills haven’t been improving and tries to be understanding. Washington trying to discipline Grif when he just doesn’t care is hilarious LOL. Also I agree poor Jensen. You can really see the animosity between the groups and the different ways they think with the argument between Doyle & Kimball. The payoff of the focus on Grif being wanting more food is fantastic. Tucker’s dance is amazing LOL. I am also morbidly curious about Sarge rapping. It’s really nice to see Carolina relaxing and finding the antics amusing. The technology they are finding is sure to be useful. I think it’s interesting that the people on this planet just know about/are used to alien technology when are not that prevalent in the show not really at least. Honestly I think Church’s reaction is appropriate because that is crazy stuff but it is funny that the alien towers were like Fairgrounds to the people when they weren’t at war. I love Dr. Grey’s excitement over figuring out another aspect of what Hargrove wants on this planet which is to avoid the re engineer alien tech it’s endearing. I love Sarge’s of the we’ll carry the shit out of that stuff line. I will never get tired of Caboose being like a dog LOL. Arryn as Dr. Grey is very impressive acting. I think Freckles having complete control of the gun and all these different abilities is both cool and hilarious especially the confetti. And now Grif understands how peer pressure works which is a great way to continue that joke. It’s almost impressive how quickly Caboose can go from relaxed to accidentally shooting people. You really shouldn’t leave the Reds & Blues unsupervised especially if they are bored because they will always get into trouble whether intentionally or not which Grey learns the hard way with Tucker activating all this technology. It’s scary in a funny way to see all the weapons and gadgets not knowing what was happening. This is very much a Ghostbusters if someone asks if you’re God say yes moment LOL. Not the best 1st words to an alien. And this set ends on an interesting point with this mysterious map to who knows where appearing. I love Chairman and Friends as a name for the bad guys. Awesome reaction & keep up the great work. :-) <3

Yes, it was an awesome start! I can imagine all the theories that were going around about Malcolm and the Meta!!! Too true that the charm might be the scariest thing about Felix. That's like his number one weapon/resource for sure. It is kinda sad about the soldiers isn't it! The space/launching test thing was very extreme! And it's cool that they brought the Counselor back! I didn't pick up on the clue at all until later lol. I couldn't agree more about the writing an the fact that they can go to lengths like this in the tone! Always listen to Caboose lol! I know, poor Phyllis! I know, that was sweet about Wash wasn't it! The two sides have a lot of bad blood for sure. Grif haha!!! Not caring about the discipline stuff, and also everything coming back to food (I can relate)! Tucker's dance was everything!! OMG a Sarge rap!!!! Carolina just taking it all in lol, it's so awesome. Good point about Church's reaction! Dr. Grey's excitement was great too lol. Awwww puppy Caboose is everything!!! Arryn does an awesome job as Dr. Grey, talk about having a range! I LOVE the Freckles gun stuff haha!! Caboose is just a natural when it comes to shooting people I guess lol. Yeah never leave them unsupervised is a good rule of thumb! Hahahaha yes love the reference to Ghostbusters, too true! Chairman and Friends is a great name for sure haha. Thank you so much for all your support and kindness!!! I truly appreciate it!!! ^_^
