Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to Demon Slayer season 3, episode 7!!!  WOW, the nerve of this demon to go on about how unjust our crew is!!!  While casually admitting to eating a bunch of humans!  Tanjiro won't stand for it!  Also, Tokito finally has some more solid flashes of his past, interesting!  But WOW, I was not prepared for what happened to Kotetsu!  I really, really hope he'll be ok!  What a great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Im pretty sure Genya isnt actually a demon since weve seen him in the sunlight multiple times before

Zen Reacts

Yep! the first time being right after final selection when they chose the ore for their swords. Also, and Im just basing this off what weve been shown so far, Im pretty sure Nezuko cant actually heal people I think he blood emon art just burns demons and any effects caused by them, like removing Gyutaros poison from everyone at the end of S2

Ohhh interesting! I'd forgotten that! Oh it's not like an actual healing power then, good call. When Tanjiro told her to go help Genya, combined with her helping with the poison, my brain just made the leap to that for some reason lol.

So it looks like it’s already been said but after the last couple of episodes I’m not sure Genya is a demon - he’s acting too “normal.” His “regeneration” ability seems very demon-LIKE though. I keep meaning to point it out and forgetting but the band doing the opening and ending themes this season is the same one responsible for the MHA Season 5 Second Cour Opening (Merry-Go-Round). So I get where you’re coming from regarding the Upper Four demon but I do think it’s worth exploring this aspect: your stance (and Tanjiro’s) is a very human perspective to take. It’s quite possible most demons have little to no concept of looking out for each other - and the reaction that invoked from Tanjiro is totally understandable, and justified. But at the same time, I’m not sure that the demon in question even is familiar with the concept. I’m probably gonna regret this as a very carnivorous person but I don’t think about where my cheeseburger or chicken sandwich comes from, either. It’s all about your point of view - and humanity has a very specific set that’s foreign to others, including the demons in this case. Okay, now that I’ve played devils advocate, I’ll move on to the other stuff - the whole snake demon form reminds me a lot of a Hydra (if you’re familiar with Hercules lore, you should know this), and I wonder if something similar will have to be done. I’d also point out that in the opening theme, Mitsuri is fighting this monster. One of the anime sights I frequent put up a post on the whole Gyokko - Hagenazuka scene and it just said “how to annoy an Upper Rank Demon.” It was also said he can’t stop working for a second. What’s the single character that keeps getting mentioned? And they mentioned the sword has a specific, singular purpose - care to enlighten us? 👀 Tokito only feels like he can rely on himself, so he’s equal parts amazed and incredulous when he sees Kotetsu doing the things he is - but that’s what Tanjiro said, one good deed gives out another. He was stabbed in the Solar plexus though, so I don’t know… but we never saw him after he broke out. So does this also mean that Tokito’s dad and Tanjiro’s ancestor have a connection? (By the way I was completely focused on typing this comment and ignoring the kitty cat trying to get my attention. This scene feels familiar. 🙃)

Oh no worries I see alot of reactors say the same thing about her powers but im like hyper analytical when it comes to that kind of stuff

2023-05-26 23:07:29 That was a strong ending. And definitely holds its own for one the best moments in the show. Very beautiful message. Hopefully that’s not the last Kotetsu. Hagenazuka’s fortitude is as strong as a hashira. He’s really gotten inspired and unlike a certain demon has put some soul into his work. And yeah fellow artists should understand the struggle of creating art 🖼 Prob jealousy cause he could never produce such amazing work. And angry demon for sure had no right to say any of that. Talking all righteous like that. It took a moment for me to process who was talking cause it shouldn’t be him saying that. >:(

Yes, I agree!!! I really hope so too. Yes, Hagenazuka was really intense and awesome here! Seriously, artists supporting artists, cmon vase demon :P OMG it probably is jealousy! I know, that demon was so out of line! I can see why it took a second since that attitude does just not fit!!!

Right, I'm thinking that now too - although his abilities do resemble demon powers. Ohhhh that's cool about the band!! Good call! That is a good point, from the demon's perspective, maybe this all makes sense. I have to admit that I too rarely think about where my food came from.... :( Oh that's interesting about the Hydra! Interesting about Mitsuri fighting the monster in the theme too, I guess that's something to look out for! Hahaha that's a great caption for that scene! I know, there's even more to that sword, I wish they'd fill us in! Right, Tokito was probably feeling some mixed emotions in that moment. Oof, it's not looking good for Kotetsu, but here's hoping! I mean, if Inosuke can live after he was impaled, there's hope (then again, not everyone knows how to move their organs around....and not everyone is Inosuke lol). I was wondering that too, are we to infer a bit more about the eye correlation??? Hahaha I often have to focus with a dog trying to get my attention, so I get it!!! I guess you know how Hagenazuka feels now! :P

I really am enjoying the season so far so much so that when they announced episode 1 was going to be released in theaters. I couldn't wait and I went to go watch it

This was about a month ago though

That's so cool! I heard about that but couldn't participate since I wanted to react to it!! So cool that you got to do that!
