Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo Part 4, episode 1!!!  WOW!!!!!!!!!!  We are really hitting the ground running here, like.....I did not see ANY of this coming!  Jotaro's new look is pretty amazing, this new style of design is so bright and different looking, and you guys....we have our new Jojo!!!  I would not have guessed in a million years where he came from though lol!!!!  WOW!!  He seems like a sweet kid so far, and his Stand is really interesting!  I can't wait to get to know him better!
Looks like trouble is already brewing though, I wouldn't expect anything else on a show like this!  Great ep and great start to the arc!!!  Can't wait for more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

The fact is, whatever its Joseph's intention or just some accident, Joseph never aware that he has a son. And somehow just find our resently. So, Jotaro has to come to Morioh to talk to him. So... as long as we don't know what happened, we might not be able to certainly state that Joseph is cheating. But well... it's pretty obvious though. But I think he would still be the same. As Josuke is already exist while Jotaro was in Eygpt for his mother. Joseph when he met Josuke's mother is the younger old Joseph we know in part 3. And as we know, he's never know about Josuke, that's why he never mention him. Or else, Araki just don't know how to create new Jojo. Or just want to make it bizarre.

Oooooooh, was Josuke the one you thought look like Knuckle? I can see it with the hair, but there's a different character that looks like Knuckle AND has the same Voice actor as him as well. XD I gotta drive, but I'll tell you about Josuke's VA when I'm off the road.

So, I've been giving this a LOT of thought and I'll probably rant about it at the beginning of my next reaction haha, but I agree that it looks pretty cut and dry about the whole cheating thing, yet that doesn't really change any of the good times we had with Joseph in SDC since it had all already happened by then. Long story short, I really think this was the only way for the author to fit in another Jojo without having to overcomplicate anything or make the character really young!

Woah woah woah woah! He cheated? I’m a bit pissed! Anyone else? That doesn’t sound like Joseph. Remember he had little to no game with the lazaydeez before SuziQ remember? Wow! That bugs me so badly but I’m looking at comments online and apparently it rubs a lot of people still to this day. Apparently people are saying the story had to continue so Araki just did that. I guess I can understand but still I wish that wasn’t the case. I have a lot I want to say about the episode but I can’t help but focus on that one little thing. It just bugs me rn. Star Crusaders was the beginning I guess. I mean Jonathan definitely was the awesome start, Joseph was great yes but the Star crew brought a new concept to the Jojo world that really took off, so it couldn’t just end there after such a concept was established. But still!! Oof. MH rant for me next time. This is killing me for some reason. Araki why!? Do we ever get an explanation as to why? Either from Joseph or the author? Hmph 😤

OMG Manny!!! I am SO glad to read this lol, I'm happy I'm not the only one who was upset about this!!! Like obviously I'm glad Josuke is here and I think he's gonna be an awesome Jojo, but Joseph's always been my babe and this just threw me through a LOOP!!!! I know, he and Suzi have something so special, it's such a bummer!! I would LOVE to know the explanation from the author actually, I've been dying to look up interviews but didn't wanna get spoiled on anything! If anyone has any ideas and can filter them for spoilers, please let me know lol. I'm only a little embarrassed to say that I've REALLY hyperfixated on every single other way the author could have done this and as much as I hated the thought of Joseph having an affair, this one does get the job done as directly as possible :/ The only other one I thought of was Jotaro's parents having another kid in the late 80s, giving us sort of a Hunter x Hunter age range for the new Jojo. I personally wouldn't mind that - it would be easy enough to explain away Jotaro going to live with his little bro in another town too. Make it a oceanside town since Jotaro is doing work with marine life, have him there to help his brother get used to his Stand, etc. But if the protagonist has to be in his teens, then this was probably the quickest way to do it since it was being written in the late 90s. :( I think what bothers me the most though is the way Joseph acts about Japan after we KNOW he had an affair with someone in Japan x_x But if you wanted to dig super deep I guess you could say maybe he was mad at himself about the affair and that's how it came out....idk lol! I'll give my full rant in the next vid hahaha but just know you weren't the only one who was upset!!!!!!!!

Trust me a lot of people still are not satisfied with that. We are not alone. I think it hurts a bit more because we know Joseph. He’s my babe too! He’s like that grandfather I wish I had and hope to be one day. It just stings. 😭 From what I’m getting Araki is one of those artists that of-course has made amazing stories, but does have a poor history of planning stuff out before. Fans have found some contradicting things even before this, it’s just how it works out in his works. I feel like that’s what happened here. I mean this takes down SuziQ’s “That man has never failed my expectations” line last season! 😭 😤 Oh I for one am not embarrassed. I want to get to the bottom of this. I wish I could read Japanese so I could read interviews but no. I’ve seen twice (from fans) stating the author later regretted it, but I have yet to see actual confirmation. Maybe later it’ll show but someone please let us know so we can have peace of mind! 🙏 😫😫😫😖😖😖😣 Ooh see that Oceanside/little brother late in the game would have worked. I mean Joksuke personality seems as modern as Gon’s. His age probably close enough to Gons— I think that would have worked. Darn it why couldn’t you have been in that room with him while he was writing this thing?! 👊😖 Yes! The way he acts about Japan was my first thought too! And that thought bothered me because it would also be a reason as to why he doesn’t like it there. But I have to remind myself “Manny Joseph’s just man childish and didn’t like his daughter being taken away”. Plus from a fan pov it just doesn’t make sense character wise. I get he’s a dude playing perv in his younger days but I never got cheater. I really just have to chalk this is up to the story must continue and something absurd was in the authors BIZARRE whack-ado mind. I don’t like spoils but I just couldn’t hold still with this one. It didn’t sit right with me. Just know WE AREN’T the only ones upset!!!!!!

So, first I had to start laughing during your intro when you started recapping everything because it’s like - “you hear everything g you’re describing, right? And you’re keeping a straight face while doing it?” 😂 Oh, look, such a nice breakfast montage. Wait, this is the right show? Oh everything’s gone but the hand, we’re in the right place. It’s kind of ironic that Josuke started reminding you of certain Jojo traits before you even knew who he was - I’m pretty sure that wasn’t an accident. Also, I believe the mother was the one taken ill for about 50 days, not Josuke himself. So DIO’s curse actually affected two people, even though he was unaware of her. “I’m starting to think Jotaro likes animals better than people…” Well, can you blame him after some of the characters he’s met? I’ll say this about Joseph after seeing Josuke’s mother… he’s definitely got a “type”… Josuke being extremely sensitive about his hair makes me think of another character who’s a personal favorite of yours who’s also very particular about their hair and what happens to it… 😉 Did you get the subtle “Star Wars” reference when Koichi said “I have a bad feeling about this?” 😆 So the vibe I’m getting is “town held hostage mystery” combined with CSI: Elements. Also, Jotaro is the audience and Koichi so far is every normal person (think someone who would react to you reacting to this show with no context! 😂) Oh, there’s another drop, I should go watch that episode. I’m making s’mores first though! 😋

Uggghhhh Suzi's speech from that episode about "we just have to trust him!" was the FIRST thing I thought of when I stopped filming!!! >.< Oh wow, no kidding about some possible regret about it too! Who knows, maybe it will get a bit tweaked down the road at least. At first I was like "at least tell me they were separated or something" in my head haha cause that at least makes it a little better! I mean I wouldn't have minded the little brother route a bit!! HAHAHAHA I wish I had been there before the ink hit the paper that day :O The whole thing about Japan really contradicts it all I think, because I'm very sure that was written as a childish-Joseph-mad-about-Daddy's-little-girl thing at first, but this just adds a really icky dimension to that! Plus didn't they imply in SDC that he never made it to Japan that often, hence he was mad? But he was just there a few years earlier, and didn't go see Holly?? But had an affair instead???? HAHAHAHAH what can I say, I'm just immersed in this bizarre world to the point that it's normal now :P LOL like I should've known, we can't just have a nice meal on this show! Oh yeah it was no accident that I was seeing similarities right away. Oh, I checked the subs and Jotaro says, "In 1987, when you were four, you came down with a fever due to an unknown cause, and for the next 50 days, no one knew if you'd survive or not"...did I miss something about his mom getting a fever? Would she have gotten the fever thing if she wasn't a Joestar by blood?? It's crazy that there was someone else being affected by the curse during SDC that we had no awareness of at all! It's also kinda sad to think that while Holly was getting all the best care from Speedwagon foundation, somewhere in Morioh was someone who was just suffering with no knowledge of what the heck was going on and no extra care :( Haha I do not blame Jotaro a bit for liking animals better than people at this point!!! I guess Joseph does have a type :P OHHHH there is another character I love who's particular about their hair isn't there! Oh yeah, Koichi's pulling a Star Wars there for sure! Oh, that's quite a mix of tones for Morioh! HAHAHA Koichi is totally the one seeing this out of context, I can only imagine what he must be thinking! Enjoy your s'mores!!!

Yes, hopefully something gets tweaked but yeah we’ll probably never get an exact answer as to why it came it to be. But here’s hoping.🤞 Right! I was shocked so I tried to make it “better” on my end too. Say maybe he met a girl right close to but before Suzi, but no. It wouldn’t make sense because of the years but I was so flabbergasted that my mind ran a mile a minute trying to fix it in my head. *Sigh 😮‍💨 The whole thing is contradicting. I mean he’s biased because his son-in-law took away his beloved daughter to Japan. I mean he can’t be mad at the dude now, can he? How can you question a guy and Japanese culture, when you cheated?! Ugh anyways I will forever be mad but we’ll have to see and enjoy as much as we can. That’s all we can do unfortunately 🤷‍♂️ That was his charm— his talking but never truly the walking the walk when it came to picking up chicks. And when he did, and you see how far they’ve come in age, it made you feel sweet growing with this guy and his silly lovable wife. Jonathan, Jotaro and (we haven’t known him long but) Josuke seem like the one woman type. I thought it was unwritten that was a Joestar trait but I guess not. And if so, why start with Joseph? Hell even Polnareff, the ladies man, was looking for that one true love of his life. I also feel like I’ve been cheated on. That’s just how it feels like. Man that came out of nowhere, but no I know how SuziQ must feels. 😤😮‍💨🤧 I could rant forever but I can’t hate on Josuke mom. It wouldn’t be right. I just gotta pick up the pieces and watch on 🥺

I know, fingers crossed!!! It seems like these things usually aren't delved into a whole lot but you never know! Omg yes, like your brain goes immediately to trying to lessen the impact! The timing just doesn't work out sadly. Heck, in my head I was like "OMG DIO MUST REALLY HAVE CONTROL OF HIM" hahahha but then I was like no because this all happened before SDC :P If I can blame Dio, I will hahaha. That's the thing, it makes the whole being mad at Japan thing soooooo hypocritical!!! I think that's as bad for me as the affair itself. My head canon is that he's really mad at himself about the affair (which happened in Japan) and that's how it's manifesting. But it's still a stretch :/ That's the thing, I have a feeling the series will just move on from here and I guess that's what we need to do too! I know Josuke is gonna be an awesome Jojo and we still get to have adventures with Jotaro which is nice, so I guess that's something to focus on! Exactly!!! That was totally part of his charm. And seeing them after being together all these years just makes you feel like you've been a part of something wonderful! Right, I agree that there's just like an innate goodness in the Joestars, and I know people make mistakes, but it's just a hard pill to swallow. OMG so true, Polnareff is such a ladies' man and I get the idea he's looking for that one special person too!!! I know, it hurts!!! Same!! Poor Suzi!!! Can you imagine, after 6 decades plus of marriage?? I hear you, I could go on and on too....but yeah, can't really blame Josuke's mom, she was young and who knows how much she knew at the time too. And Josuke seems so fun, I really think he's gonna be great!!! Yes, watch on!! That's my plan too :D

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh this one was so good, holy cow! Whoever made this should be a professional video editor or something!!! I cried so many times haha, the part with Kakyoin with the lyric "everyone in those old photographs is dead" and the transition from young to old Joseph, and just all the emotional scenes they put in throughout. It truly is! I can totally see how it's an artform. Ooh I think I replied to any links I saw, but I'm still making my way through them so I may just not have seen it yet! I am loving the look of this OVA....actually think I might save clips of it for later since I'm hoping to maybe react to it when I'm done with Part 6! Definitely watch the OVAs, they're neat, even if they cut out some of the JoJo humour! (because in 90s action we are SERIOUS... even though they're cutting out the humour from the original manga from 80s! smh, 90s, must be srs bsnss. pffftt. Still worth watching. Very much so. If you react, I'll definitely subscribe for the month when you do that. :D
