Hey everyone!  I'm back with the first ep of this four-part miniseries!!!  WOW!!!  I had no idea it was going to be this good - scary stories with Rohan?!  SIGN ME UP!!!!  This one was so good and creepy and I loved the double twist!!!  The animation also looks amazing here!  What a perfect tale for spooky season - I found myself hoping they would all just be creepy stories told from Rohan's perspective and I wasn't disappointed!!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!!  ~ MH

The whole ghost possessing a tongue bit really made me think of those body horror flicks that were prevalent in the 80s. (brain damage, basket case, dead ringers, the fly, etc.)

I mean, we did just hit October so the timing fits for something like this… 🎃 But when a Jojo character says “it’s a really weird story…” have you forgotten how normal these characters are? 😂 The story itself is playing off a pretty common horror movie trope, where a self-centered person makes a wrong decision, and ends up dealing with a curse because they made the choice they did instead of trying to be kind. If you’ve ever seen “Drag Me to Hell,” (which is an underrated horror film in my opinion), the concept of this is very similar. If the guy would’ve just budged a LITTLE… but not only did he not give him any food, he then went to have lunch and doubled the tramp’s workload. No wonder he held a grudge. So that’s how manga artists get some of their darker ideas, they just masquerade as Italian priests. Got it. 😅 I am also a big football fan, and one of the phrases that people like to use prior to a big game is a meme, but it applies here in a different way: “get your popcorn ready, it’s going to be a show.” As far as the whole possessed tongue thing… when’s it not the tongue? The ending took a little time for me to get a complete grasp on, and I’m still not sure exactly what’s what. Overall, this episode was… for the birds. 👀

Wow this is a lot different than what I was expecting but I like it. A story within a story haha. Very eerie and spooky. Kind of reminded me of Goosebumps or something. I would have thought it was a stand 100% but the fourth installment has me thinking there’s a good chance it was an actual ghost. And places like Italy are filled with such preserved places and things so who really knows? Crazier things have happened. Lol this is perfect for October 👻 🎃 🧙‍♀️

Yeah me too!!! So spooky! I totally got Goosebumps, Tales from the Crypt, etc. vibes! That's the thing, we know it's not totally out of their wheelhouse to have something genuinely supernatural. Very true, there's so much history there! It's totally perfect for October isn't it!!!! XD

It's spooky season alright!!! Hahahaha omg seriously, like the bar is PRETTY HIGH for weird on this show so...!! Oh yeah, I think I saw that movie!! It's a trope alright, but a good one if done well. That's the thing, like seriously, I know there's lots of schools of thought on this but this guy was just being cruel. Hahahaha if you ever want a story idea, imitating an Italian priest is probably the way to go! :P Oh that's cool that you know football, I'm jealous! I know nothing of the sportsballs so I'm constantly lost in sports-related conversations >.< But yeah, that saying totally applies here! OMG it's always the tongue!!! Yeah the ending was quite a twist right?! Hahahaha ba-dum-tss!!!!
