Hey everyone!  I'm BACK with more Spy x Family!  Here's my reaction to season 2, episode 3!  WOW, that first one had some actual weight to you it guys!!!  It was interesting seeing a day in the life of Yuri, and how he ended up relating to the person he was following more than he expected.  The Bondman one was so fun and such a great homage to James Bond!  And the sweet little shorts at the end were sooooo wholesome!!!  Just what we needed to top off an ep that started off a bit heavier!!!  Man I love this show!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

You’re having all sorts of fun in this filming session aren’t you? We focus on Yuri today, and in a lot of ways he’s like his sister - headstrong, a little crazy, and lets his imagination run wild from time to time. I believe what the author is trying to convey here is that while Ostania might be a totalitarian regime, human decency is still present. There are a lot of things wrong with how the country is run. Franklin’s lashing out is a bit of a result of that - he spoke out and lost his job because of it, so he turned vengeful - and he couldn’t even support his parents because of it. This isn’t a problem just in countries like this, as you know, the free countries the majority of us live in give us a lot of freedoms we shouldn’t take for granted, but they’re by no means perfect systems either. At the end of the day, everyone just wants what’s best for their families and loved ones. Everyone with a decent mindset, that is. Probably should put that caveat in. Yuri: “I would never do anything to make my family sad.” Yuri is a decent guy working for the wrong people but uh… what’s going to happen when he realizes his target is Yor’s husband… DRAMA! But first he’ll have to get one past Stupid Leash Girl. But he did earn the head pats this episode! Bondman is obviously a spoof on Agent Bond, was Agent M a spoof on M? Also the way every girl falls into Bond’s bed is pretty fictional. By the way, Franklin was infatuated with the same romance show Becky watches. Loid sure doesn’t understand Anya’s change of heart - trust me there are certain things you’re better off not knowing. By the way, to end this comment, I went and did some digging on the JP voice actor for Yuri: are you sitting down for this info drop? In addition to Yor’s younger brother he is the voice of Tomohiro in A Silent Voice, Canute in Vinland Saga, Floch in AoT, and… he’s the voice of some dude named Giorno in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Part 5. (He’s also got a major role in Bungo Stray Dogs which is on the hit list for later.) Put that in your brain and stew on it! 😎

An interesting episode. I liked getting this more serious side to things. We know the silliness of these characters but never see the intensity of their professions to the fullest extent, thank goodness. When it comes to Yor, Yuri is very protective. Anyone interfering in her happiness or wellbeing, even in the long run, he’s willing to stop them. The man on the opposite side of the fence was getting his hands dirty for his loved one too. For Yuri still wanting to protect his sister but had a better understanding. I like to think the guy appreciated being put away to an extent; just so he wouldn’t have a chance to continue getting his hands dirty. As long as his dads cared for, he’ll be fine. That was a very telling episode.

Yeah it was interesting to have the tone switch up there wasn't it? That's the thing, like usually all we see is the fun and games but...they really are lethal lol. Yor is Yuri's whole reason for all this! And Franklin had his family reasons too. I think there was probably some relief to being caught like you said, and he seemed to really appreciate that his dad would be ok. It was a great one!

Hahaha a little too much fun maybe!! Yeah Yuri and Yor have a lot in common. That's the thing, like the individuals in any given place are just people at the end of the day. They have their reasons and they're not all bad. So true, there's a lot to be grateful for but these systems aren't perfect by any means. I agree that there's lots of decent people who just want to protect who they love. Hahaha stupid leash girl, poor Anya!!! I knew the head pats would send him into orbit! Wasn't the Bond spoof hilarious! Good point about M!!! OMG it's the same show that Becky watches?!?!?! That's so funny, I didn't catch that! LOL Loid might be better off not knowing. AHHHHHH you're kidding about Yuri's VA!! First off, I'm in legit shock that Floch could be voiced by my angel of a son Giorno!!!! Second, I can't believe Giorno shares a voice with ALL those other characters, whaaaattt!!!! Hahaha WOW!!!!! *brain explodes*
