Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to episode 9 of Kamen Rider Gotchard!  YAYYYYY school trip time!!!!  I like that we got to see more of Hotaro's buddy in this one, it's been a minute since we saw him!  What are the odds that our sisters would be making trouble in the same place as our school trip?!  You just can't win sometimes!  So glad Hopper came along too hahaha.  And the blossoming relationship here is gonna be pretty harshly interrupted by the fact that the girl has some kind of history with...you guessed it...the other prisoner that the sisters let loose!!!  What are the freaking odds you guys?!?!!?  Can't wait for more! Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Other fans: GOD DAMN! A SUPER ROBOT! Me: Rinne laugh! That's Ultra Rare! Just went back and watch some of your Shield Hero's reaction. Something came up to my mind. I'm writing my novel as hobby and never publish anywhere for now, that the protagonist is a demon fighting as a Devil Knight to steal monster's power and become a Demon Lord. He's in the world where they discriminate demon so bad that even through they can have a proper life, but demons mostly don't get appropriate respect and viewed as villain (for that they did from the POV of others in past time). When I watched Shield Hero, I feel like I could use this as my inspiration for those events, the discriminating and false charge upon Naofumi. The hard part is... that's it. They're all nonsense, I find it hard to just create some intense hatred and discriminating event just for some nonsense motive. It just doesn't make sense. You know what? They say that some place in this episode was visited by Fourze's crew a long time ago. I think it's the station. Also, some theorized that there might be theme behind each Chemy attribute, for that the three sisters usually used plant and insect based chemies to create Malgam. Some say that plant based chemy might be able to create something they need, and insect might capable to multiply something, like Houtaro desire for Human and Chemy to live alongside. More to that, the beast attribute might boost people ferociously, and vehicle attribute might increase greed or virtue. Not much is know about Job and Artifact attribute though. One more thing. A trailer of Gotchard x Geats winter movie (that doesn't show much) has launch. The trailer is filled with the narrator voice, some scene from the film, and Hopper1 and Geats Chemy cutest rampage (to the point that the narrator get annoyed. But other than that, the Chemies keep crying their signature cry. Hopper1 is "Hopper!". For some reason, Geats' chemy is "Kon!", which is Fox cry in japanese. It's a bit female and childrish like sound. People trt to identify who is Geats' chemy voice actor/actrss. And the cobclusion is reached. It is theorized that the voice actrss of Geats Chemy is Shirakami Fubuki, the famouse VTuber from japanese agency "Hololive", which is a white fox girl. I didn't watch her, but I like her. And she seems to have one famous line that saying "I'm not your Waifu! I'm your friend!" Kinda like how Tsumuri never went up on the chart and become Ace's love interest, but remained her sister as Ace identified. Also, Neon fell to sister position too after her identity unrevealed. Oh poor ship...

“This guy isn’t stealing a loaf of bread to save his family…” -laughs at the irony - watching this particular reaction while waiting to go into a presentation of Lés Miserablés in a few minutes. The name of Hotaro’s friend is Kajiki, and the “interest” is Hijiri. We started the episode talking about Kyoto being the door to another world in Kajiki’s guidebook. Now, I’m not the most versed Kamen Rider viewer, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to say “THAT has something to do with all this!” Something occurred to me, watching Lachesis use HappyClover to activate a Malgam - and then the way Hopper couldn’t stand to be away from Ichinose - wound it be a problem if a Chemy got TOO attached? I’m beginning to wonder… It was mentioned humans can only handle ONE Chemy at a time, but Spanner and Lachesis have used multiple. Hotaro has too, but the rule of ten seems to be a requirement for him, which I’ve already speculated about. I think that thing Atropos was working on might’ve been the flask we’ve been hearing about. Clotho was in Kyoto to hunt down a Level 10 Chemy - what does that mean, how does it work, and do level zeroes exist? Otherwise, you couldn’t pair it. Kajiki literally… fell for Hijiri, but we can’t just have a meet cute without making everything dramatic - why did the Jam Malgam give me Jyamoto vibes by the way? Speaking of that, two things - one, good thing we’re at a film studio because it’s going to be a lot easier to explain what the heck this giant toku fight going on is all about and two - so much for keeping a low profile! Rinne being amused though, that’s gotta be a sight I didn’t expect to see… By the way Hijiri did say it was her brother in the flashback. I’m not going to assume anything but that’s probably him because…. DRAMA! I can just picture Minato saying this to them: “why is it when there’s trouble, it’s always you three?” The prehistoric film look doesn’t go too badly on them though! Tokyo to Kyoto is 281 miles - HOW FAST WERE THOSE TWO DRIVING!? 😅

Oof it’s that’s not her brother Kajiki may as well pack it in. Girls love bad boy types. And I don’t think you can get any worse than a detention center inmate.

Hi Hime :) Hotaro's mother's expression when Kajiki talks about UFOs leaves me wondering if Hotaro's father has something to do with aliens, like going looking for them or being one. I looked at the old malgams and they either have three or four arms, so the designs gained my interest a little more. The Dark Gate they are trying to make looks like a driver, so the trope of the evil rider switching sides could happen. My idea, based on what Atropos said about Rinne's father still being alive, is that the sisters captured him to make a dark rider. Rinne is the type who finds horror fun, it's interesting and that makes it adorable in my eyes. Even if personally, I'm more like Hotaro and his friend on this subject. This might be me jumping to conclusions, but I think the one in the hoodie is Hijiri's brother. If so, it's funny that the hitodamas, which are little balls of fire, inspired Hijiri to love the occult, and his brother to start fires. Because I guess that's why he was arrested since he's talking about burning Clotho. You say it yourself, but it's another double episode, is this going to become the norm now? We'll see, but if it doesn't make the pace worse, that's it. I had difficulty with Kamen Rider Wizard which works a lot in double episodes because the pace was slow, but for the moment that is not the case here. Oh and about the age, Kajiki is 17 and Hijiri is 20, so there is a little gap and even if there is the minor and adult side. Kajiki will be an adult in less than a year, so personally, if they go the romantic route, it wouldn't bother me that much.

LOL!!! Rinne's laugh was definitely the highlight here! Oh wow, good luck with your story! It can be really hard to come up with certain aspects of worldbuilding right? No kidding about Fourze!!! That's really interesting about the attribute. Oh nice, a trailer! Yeah some ships just aren't gonna make it I guess!!

That's true about the rule of ten, and it seems they're putting on some limitations now when it comes to non-Riders. Oh yeah, I never thought about that with level zeroes! They'd have to, if anything is gonna get paired with a level 10, right? I could see the Jyamato vibes for sure! Hahaha the film studio was fortuitous, right?! Rinne's laugh was everything!! Ohh cool ok, thanks for the info on that being her brother. LOL that would be the perfect line/reference for Minato :P True, they're rocking that look! OMG I was thinking that too, like how close exactly is Kyoto??? Not that close apparently...!!

Hi Spadeas! :) Ooohhh interesting, I noticed the look from the mom but wasn't quite sure what they were trying to imply. That's interesting about the number of arms too! Ohhh good call that it looks like a driver, we have some evil Rider potential then! Lol Rinne laughing at the horror stuff was so fun! I think there's a possibility he's the brother too. He did mention fires...maybe it's not a stretch to think they're both into some interesting stuff lol? Good call on the pacing, as long as the double episodes don't affect that, I'm good too! Yeah I was wondering about the age gap, thanks for clarifying! I guess they could build up their romance in that year until he's 18 lol!
