Hey everyone!  I'm BACK with more Spy x Family!  Here's my reaction to season 2, episode 6!  Oh man, this story is really heating up isn't it!  Not surprised at all that Loid has picked up on the signs that something's going on, but I'm so amused at the fact that he's so hung up on how to be the perfect dad right now lol!!!!  It's so adorable to watch!  And it's up to Anya to coordinate all the hijinx so that no one finds out what anyone's doing.  Yor is killing it, literally, but this next opponent seems like they might be a challenge even for her!!  Can't wait for what's next!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) The call that "Mr. Gray" made is probably what led to the knowledge that they would be on the boat, so even if he is not responsible for the leak about the new identity of the woman and her baby, he is surely responsible without knowing it for the leak about the cruise. I think Yor killing the knocker proved to Mr. Gray that Yor was qualified for her job. The leader of the assassins, the one with the glasses, shares his voice with Mista. Seeing as I'm rewatching Jojo with you, I had his voice in mind and recognized it immediately. Loid, Twilight, this expert spy, led by the nose by his daughter lol. It's funny how Anya and Loid really have that father and child relationship now. I think that at this point, even if the mission ended tomorrow, Loid wouldn't be able to abandon Anya.

What wholesome is in this same week, there is another anime where it contained Anya's Voice Actress role. It's Frieren from "Frieren: Beyond the Journey End". And in the most recent episode, Frieren just cold-bloodly killed an antagonist demon lord general with the most cool and cold-blood dialogue. Imagined a cool and cold-heart Anya, that's so unmatch! LOL Come to think of it, Nezuko's Voice Actress has been on one TV program, where she was asked to voice various role such as a cute little sister, a strict girl classmate, a sexy neighbor, a sexy convinience store staff, and even a dying sexy grandma. She's able to do it all!

The first thing to catch on in this episode is the fact that Yor isn’t the only completely dangerous character loose - it seems her handler / director is very capable himself - he took that one assassin out in no time flat and disposed of the body with no one being the wiser. Olka (?) is cautioned against relaxing momentarily and she admits she just didn’t want to believe there was an enemy anymore. “After all, it’s not just about me anymore.” She’s concerned for the safety of her child, like any good mother would be - I think on some level, Yor more than gets it - think about how many times she’s “activated” when Anya runs into perceived trouble on her watch. I was thinking when the scene switched, I kinda miss buffets, they aren’t around as much anymore. But even so, Anya and Loid notice something: they notice they’re having dinner without Yor and it’s bothering them on some subconscious level. Watching Yor’s work it becomes clear she’s not just incredibly good at her job she’s also very good at adapting to situations on the fly, just like Loid is. The whole sequence in the lounge just kind of proves that she can be subtle as well as brutal. By the way, if we keep chucking corpses off this ship (two this episode) someone will notice… Anya is such a matchmaker / organizer and her parents have no idea. Keep in mind how observant Loid is, that’s why Anya is so panicked. All he needs is one second to sum up what’s going on. So she’s going to use her WAKU WAKU ness to tell him “you’re not WAKU WAKU -ing enough.” Although the summer vacation clothes might be a stretch… The face Anya is making? That’s called stress, Loid! XD Yor’s a little busy with Sickle-and-Chain Barbary right now, and according to him the baby is also on the hit list as well. We are literally halfway through the season already!

It’s awesome but weird seeing Yor killing. Not just coming home covered with blood but seeing it in action is something different. I want to see what level these guys are at. I want to know if they’re as good as her. I’m also looking forward to seeing Loid in his getup. All these bodies flying everywhere and I’m feeling sorry for him the most right now xD

Hi Spadeas! :) Gotcha, thanks for clarifying! I think you're right, Yor's proving herself here. OMG you're kidding about that being Mista's VA!!!! I have to go back and listen again! Hahaha the control Anya has over this situation is hilarious and scary! But yeah, they're totally in a real parent/child relationship now. I think you're right, he wouldn't be able to leave her!

Yeah her handler is pretty capable too. I think you're right, Yor understands what it's like to protect a child. Yeah I know, there aren't that many buffets around anymore!! I used to love them too. Awww I love that they were missing mama! So true, Yor's so much more than just a good assassin, she has the fast thinking and ability to adapt too. Hahaha true, eventually these bodies are gonna pile up! Hahahha Anya had to think fast for sure and tell Loid he needs to waku waku more!!! So true that all he needs is a split second to add things up! Hahahaha it's totally a stress face, I know it well :P That's crazy that the baby is on the hit list, sheesh. OMG we are halfway through aren't we!!!! :O

I know right! Like actually seeing it is a bit more real and intense. It'll be interesting to see how these enemies measure up for sure. Hahahaha I so wanna see Loid in his new fit! LOL he's totally the one suffering the most though :P
