Hey everyone!  Here I am with season 2, episode 3 of Camp Camp!!!  Oh man!!!  What could be better than an epic quest to save everyone from a volcano, while testing our mage skills along the way?!  Staying at camp and playing in rice pudding, apparently!  But wow, what an epic and hilarious ep this one!  Nerris is everything!!!  Let's hear it for big imaginations, putting differences aside and be responsible mages, etc.!  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

Quick sidebar: please turn the audio volume up in these reactions, the sound - particularly some of the dialogue, is a tad inaudible. As you’ve probably picked up by now, Harrison is the um… illusionist is the word I think I want to use. Poor Neil, when he’s not being picked on by his regular crew, he’s having to grovel in front of Nerris’ castle. You probably should’ve picked up something was off during the Duce missiles - also, the squirrel rebels might be a riff on Game of Thrones - in fact, I’m almost sure of it. The whole idea behind a quest to an active volcano might very well be a reference to a RT Live action series called “A Simple Walk Into Mordor,” where two RT people went to New Zealand, and walked from the actual site of Hobbiton’s filming in LOTR to the actual film site of Mt. Doom. I believe they just filmed a “sequel,” as well. Anyway, did anyone else get Vox Machina vibes from this episode? Either way, we had to finish with a Harry/Voldemort battle - the only thing missing was someone saying they had the high ground. Also, Nikki died. Think I might skip the pudding tomorrow. Apparently Quartermaster wasn’t joking about needing to quest to save the camp, though. Tsk. Saved by the credits. By the way, I think it’s okay for you to look at the episode names before watching them, in fact in some ways, it might actually enhance the show’s comedy. PS: Good first try, you’ll memorize the first part east enough! The real trick to all of this, is of course, is editing this so it’s not off time by half a second later. XD - by the way if you start cracking up, there’s no point trying to recover. Just lean into the laughter. 😂

Oh I'll try to keep that in mind with the audio! Illusionist is a good way to put it! Poor Neil for sure lol. HAHAHAHA no way, that was a GoT reference?! Amazing! You're kidding, that's an actual RT series?!?! I've gotta see it lol, and the "sequel"!!! I can see the Vox Machina vibes for sure! I had a feeling this was one of Nikki's "deaths"! Don't eat the pudding :O HAHAHA the fact that Quartermaster was serious as a heart attack was so funny. Ooh good to know about the ep names, thanks! I don't think that was editing, I think I was really half a second off just trying to keep up lol :P But I'm glad this was an improvement overall! The first part isn't bad to memorize, but that second part will take awhile! I don't know how Miles does it on command :P I'm always happy to lean into the laughter, no problem!!!

So much great Quartermaster this episode, just pulling out the prophecy on his hook hand, “And it will *continue* to be tomorrow’s pudding”, “Mmm, end times are coming” 🤣 can’t wait till we get to his episode
