this episode was the one that BROKE ME😭😭

In light of such a heavy episode, since there were more MCU mentions, I have a few links to art Alice (the creator and writer of the books and show) drew of Nick and Charlie on Halloween through the years :) Hulkling and Wiccan!! To answer your question about foods that are easier, many people with anorexia have ‘safe foods’ — Charlie has always found eating plain buttered toast to be easier (both in the show and in the comics), but sometimes when it’s worse, he can’t eat that (like we see in this episode when Nick offers him toast).

“he might be a little autistic” is so real lmao. i relate to isaac in a lot of ways

Tao hugging Nick broke me so much. That was such a sweet scene. And also this episode even though is very hard to watch and it very good written.

Nick crying on Tao's shoulder gets me EVERY time. (Kit is such a great crier. Some actors are terrible but he nails it.)

I do journal (well I do morning pages which is freewriting rather than traditional journalling but it serves the same pupose) but as a writer I also really relate to 'I usually write them into a movie script' 😂

There's been rumours that Kit Connor has been cast as Hulkling in Marvel but he's denied it and said being in Marvel is Joe Locke's project right now, not his. Which I mean he would say if he was cast but keeping it undergrads but the only reason people thought he was Hulkling is because the character is the boyfriend of Wiccan, who Joe plays. Tbh I would be surprised if they would take roles that would have them as boyfriends again so soon, they probably don't want to get typecast. Also Benji's write, they did talk about Marvel last season and they do in the comics too, so it is actually a fun coincidence that it's canon that Charlie dislikes Marvel and Nick loves it, we also have see Nick dressed as Captain America in the comics as well (but they did lay it on a bit thicker this season, which I can't blame them for tbh)

I adore the development of Tao and Nick's relationship across seasons, imagine season 1 Tao comforting Nick, it wouldn't happen. Also, it's not America but they are still underage drinking (which to be fair is pretty realistic for the UK), they're all 15-16 here, the drinking age is 18.

I sobbed through this whole season and this episode hit so hard

My favorite episode of this season. I love how they showed both perspective during the 3 months Charlie was absent. I loved seeing the dual perspectives. I love the way they are tackling these hard situations this season, but also showing a good outcome along with giving really good information for young teen (there target arget after all) when it comes to mental health. Can't wait to see the next 4 episode reviews.

100% i have safe foods that I go to when my ED is loud and can't think about food. So the safe food is there to help ensure you eat even if it's something small. It's more of ensuring the action of eating is done to help your brain and GI get your hunger cues back. I loved this episode and how they broke it down.

I love going to doctor. I was a foster in a medically fragile foster home. If me and my foster siblings at the doctor or the hospital at least 10 times a month. Then that was unusual. But going to doctor for me regarding my eczema, hearing loss, ASD, ADHD and GAD due to neglect and abuse and asthma. I liked when it was my turn to go to the doctor. Even when I would have asthma attacks and be hospitalized. Because I got some one on one attention from my foster/adoptive mom who was a single mom with 5 or 6 kids. I never went to the doctor for my ED (atypical anorexia nervosa). I just ended up started eating regularly again after several months. I got diagnosed with clinical depression and I went on buspar and Zoloft for my anxiety and depression. Which helped with my eating disorder.
