If you want to see an underrated John Carpenter Kurt Russell film, check out their Television Movie, Elvis (1979). Kurt Russell gives a hell of a performance as Elvis and John Carpenter’s direction is phenomenal in this television biopic.

Probably my favourite reaction so far of 2025! Love this movie! I was completely OBSESSED with Kurt Russell when I was a kid! My favourite movies of his (at the time) were: - Escape from New York - Escape from L.A - Soldier - Overboard - Captain Ron - Big Trouble in Little China - Fox and the Hound Now as an adult the list has grown with: - Sky High - Bone Tomahawk - The Hateful Eight - 3000 Miles to Graceland - The Christmas Chronicles 1 & 2 - The Thing (Always willing to expand my Kurt Russell viewing fyi 😉) Rewatching this one just reminded me of how much I have always loved seeing him on the big screen so after the Meet the Robinsons watch along I might go revist Soldier lol 🥰❤️
