Oh snap! I’ll do my best not to let ya down!! I’m super excited about this one, though. I’ve been hearing about it since high school and it’s always felt like my kinda show, just in the little bits n images I’ve seen over time. One day I’m gonna have to bust into some proper manga. Were the Japanese films any good? Heard a looooot of mixed things about the American one 😅😅

The Japanese films are pretty good! I actually think the way they ended the series was better but overall some of the changes and actors were a little odd! But it’s pretty consistent! And you could avoid the manga on this show because it’s a really faithful adaptation! I don’t really recall a lot of differences if any! And yeah, the Netflix one was...special! Lmao

I'm glad to hear that! Seems like any amount of anime/manga translated to live action is a tall order 😅 so that's pretty cool. Dunno if I'll cover here, but will definitely make some time at least for the Japanese films once I'm done with the series. ...and then maaaybe the Netflix if I'm feeling morbidly curious 😅 lol
