Sofia is a woman of mystery and master manipulation, and I love it. Typically you’re able to get a general read of a villain, but her endgame is ever-evolving. I thought I figured her out at this point, but she has a few surprises left up her sleeve. Seeing Lee in this new leadership role is pretty awesome. As you’ve said a few times before, Gotham has a great habit of rectifying “unpopular” character or story choices. I know how dissatisfied you were with Lee’s devolvement in parts of season 2 and 3, and now look at her; a total boss, forging her own path while continuing to help people. Turning Penguin into a surrogate father/mentor/friend was such a refreshing and unexpected way to further humanize the character. You would think with his history, he would be incapable of nurturing anyone, let alone a child, but he succeeded, probably even to his own surprise.

Oh yeah! They've really been killing the writing with both these characters man. Especially the turnaround with Lee and the narrows. Loving Sofia's growth also and the way they keep you guessing with her true motivations and everything. Really hope Robin Lord Taylor gets some more work as well, because that dude is INCREDIBLE!
