AFAIK the majority of the audience has no idea about nen. They cant see the aura surrounding Gon or that spin dude. All they see is some cool shit happening , but they dont see how actual aura of Gon is in use . Also thats an interesting interpretation , that Wing has no idea how to tutor Gon and KIllua since they are so exceptional . I never thought about that , but thats probably true . Tho the conversation between Killua and Wing , I thought Killua was saying that if Wing want to quit teaching them because they dont really listen to them , he can , he should feel no responsibility towards them and Killua was confident enough to think that eventually they gonna learn nen one way or another. Also Killua likes to have the upper hand no matter what, so that whole bit was shown as Killua being cocky and pretending he knows his shit. At the end of the day Killua has an issue trusting random strangers and looking down on people from time to time . The fight honestly i thought was lame , i thought the power and the guy was too cartoony and really felt lackluster , it lacked that hxh edge that it usuallly has with their antagonists . And just his whole power seemed to absurd for me , lol. I did like the tone between Killua lecturing Gon about his injuries and how Wing approached him by slapping Gon. You can see , Gon is an adreniline junkie , even Killua admits that . And I am personally glad there were some consequences . Also I liked how Killua refused to train with Zushi, since he dont want to get ahead of Gon. I think its a nice touch , as much as he wants to learn new stuff, Gon comes first to Killua .

2021-07-15 04:54:56 Ahhhhhhh, that's good to know, okay. So it's not just common knowledge outside the warrior/fighting class? Not bad! Glad we weren't too far off re: Gon & Killua being something of a unique challenge for Wing (I appreciate the little character notes with him as well, as he's reacting to all this). Can also see your point tho, with Killua basically saying that if Wing is sick of dealing with them, he doesn't have to teach them. Obviously, I'm glad Wing is still in the picture at the moment, but it does seem like Killua would basically do whatever it takes to get that knowledge once he knows where to look. And yeah, Killua does seem like Mr. Cool & Collected - or at least like he wants to give off that impression, which makes it that-much-more amusing when he's caught off-guard haha. Aaaand I can see where you're coming from re: the Gon/Gido fight. I think Gido's design is neat, in and of itself, but he is also a top who uses a bunch of tops, so it does push a bit to the more whimsical side. Wasn't bothered by it, but I can see what's not to love haha. As for Gon & Killua, I'm continually fascinated by their friendship haha. In some ways they feel like peers and in other ways it very much feels like Killua is a surrogate older brother, because, as you said, Gon is a bit of an adrenalin junkie and doesn't always think things through when it comes to himself & his physical capabilities/wellbeing. I love the little asides where it's clear Killua finds Gon a bit kooky, but loves him nevertheless. Appreciate that as well, how even though Killua ostensibly has a lot more formal training in certain martial/assassin arts, he still wants to wait for Gon & learn alongside him. Hopefully Gon's next go-round will be a little more down-to-earth haha.
