Both of them were supposed to get their own spin-off TV Show "Marvel Most Wanted" - Same Universe and with Crossover potential with Agents of Shield. They shot the Pilot but ABC didn't pick it up to series. This was a very beautiful goodby and I'm glad that they didn't kill them off! :-)

That Spy's Goodbye gets me every time. Especially right when Mack's part comes up. Mack has know these guys for years before any of them came onto our SHIELD team. They're the only connection Mack had to his life before. It's so heartbreaking watching them leave as I really came to love Bobbie and Hunter. At least they didn't get killed off tho. So you can just imagine them out there living their lives and going on their own adventures. It's too bad that they were written out for a pilot that was never picked up but tbh I think the characters are better as part of an ensemble so I get why it wasn't greenlit. I will applaud the show for wringing such visceral emotions out of me for the send off of two characters who didn't even die, just quit their jobs. A-plus writing, acting, and music direction there.

You should definitely react to the bloopers for each season at some point, one of the dead men in this episode specifically fell asleep during the shoot and was snoring which absolutely killed Ming-Na
