Happy Friday, Patron-O-Jects!

With Disney's latest live-action re-imagining finally hitting the Disney+ I thought it'd be fun to check out their latest promotional music vid - a dramatic re-interpretation of "Reflection" sung by none other than Christina Aguilera!

As some of you (who apparently aren't me at the time of shooting this 😅) may remember, Christina did the original pop rendition of the song back in the day...  

Let's see how the song's sounding 22 years later!

Hahahaha I was wondering whether or not you remembered that Christina Aguilera actually had sung the song back in the 90s for the original movie's soundtrack haha. This song actually helped her get signed onto a label at the beginning of her career after Mickey Mouse club. I know people had lots of say about her doing the song this time, but I don't mind. I think it's meant to tickle our nostalgia bone lol. And I saw the Liu Yifei and Lee Coco (ugh, i still remember her songs from Crouching Tiger XD) did the song too. I saw a Korean version too, but I thought that was weird because I don't like different Asian cultures being lumped together just for hype. However, if they come out with more covers in different languages, it'd be okay and great. OH! I'd LOVE it if Lea Salonga came back to sing it too!
