My friends, here's another round of old, weathered wood. I tried these techniques for the first time on the last facade and since then, my view on this particular effect has been transformed. It's so much fun to combine chipping fluid, acrylics, and enamels/oils.

The shack is finished already. I played around and spent some time with random junk behind the windows - one of them is blocked off by cardboard boxes, and the main window has some oil cans behind it. All the painting and aging was inspired by the real building, I only took some creative freedom with the plywood.

The large barn door is in the process of aging. The other half will look completely different, and I might also need to add some extra effects to the left wing. Also, there will be some enameled signs there for extra color and detail! :) The cool thing about aging wood is that you can always add more layers if you want to.

I realized that around this time a year ago, I was working on the water mill. And a year before that, I was building that rusty Conqueror diorama with the old warehouse in the background. It's crazy to look back and see how the painting techniques have evolved over time!

Wonderful work and it’s always interesting to see how your techniques change with experience and new products. I started following when I came across your four ways to chip armour video about a million years back - I think your techniques have evolved significantly since then. 👍😎🏆

Man, always just blown away to see this work. I'm struggling with just trying to get VMS smart mud to stay in one place hahaha

Amazing sir!

Oh yeah, that chipping video feels like an eternity ago! And it's so funny because it was the most filler content ever. I just wasn't able to finish the Chi-Ri build in time to release the video, so I quickly slapped the chipping vid together.

Incredible as always! Keep up the awesome content! Do you think you will ever do a couple of technique videos? Maybe Patreon only? Now that your techniques have evolved do some short videos on Wood, chipping, groundwork and water, and the welding beads. I still came seem to make the tool the right way 🥹! Again love your work, can’t wait for this video! 🔥🔥🤣😍😊🔥🔥

I'm thinking about the occasional technique video again! Because exactly as you said, some of these techniques are new to me and it's not possible to showcase them fully in the recent videos.

I would second that request!
