Great after show. Like Eric from Phoenix I have obligations every Wednesday night but to listen to these shows the next day is really adding to this final season for me. I feel with the climax around the corner we have a lot of great things they could do with this story but we’ll see if they can nail it. While it’s been a fun ride I feel there’s a lot of things story wise they could have explored in replace of the filler.

"How can a ship travel to a planet without the pilots knowing where it is?" It seems to me that in hyperspace, you just punch in the coordinates and a computer does the rest - at least that's what I remember Han saying in ANH. Here's how you could have a computer go to coordinates that it doesn't store and no one really knows: Multiple crew members can know parts of the coordinates, which they punch in. The navicomputer can actually check to make sure the coordinates are correct WITHOUT having stored the coordinates - I won't go into technical details, but your browser (Safari/Chrome/Firefox/whatever) does a similar thing when it secures your data as it passes between the pipes of the internet. So the crew members each enter their part of the coordinates, and then the computer checks to ensure the value is one that it is approved to travel to, calculates the path, and begins the journey. At the end of the trip, the navicomputer does not store the values. It's not perfect (what about the flight log?) but it's 90% of the way there.
