Ad-free RFR Early Bird!

We analyze the two new trailers that have Star Wars fans talking: TALES OF THE EMPIRE and STAR WARS OUTLAWS. Along with those breakdowns, we also have a bunch of cool stuff you won’t hear anywhere else, like more highlights from the recently discovered rare 1977 radio interview featuring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher on their first and only STAR WARS promotional tour together, and the world premiere of Puppet Lando’s all-new original tune “Buckle Up Baby”. Plus, we review the STAR WARS stuff on display at the DISNEY100: THE EXHIBITION in Chicago, listener feedback about THE BAD BATCH and more!

Over 2 hours of discussion! I'm so excited to listen to this episode! Thanks you.

Gareth Williams

Listening whist in the queue for Echo Base Live. First con of the year. Anyone else listen to RFR whilst at cons?

Ian Savage

I love finally hearing the song on the show!! It was a blast to be a part of 🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻

Turtle Wars

Again, that 1977 interview is such a gem! “R2-D2 deserves my hand…and the rest of me” - Carrie keeping it real! The new Puppet Lando song is really good. You’ve got quite a talented group of RFR listeners!

Fun discussion as always! I agree with Jimmy, I don't think the actors were prepped for the interview. Guessing they got their memories refreshed while doing ADR back in CA or when filming some of the making of documentary? Puppte Lando song is the best yet. Nice job to Jeff and the RFR orchestra / voices. I wish I could still remember how to play my trombone. I would love to see a Puppet Lando record kickstarter. Think this could be a way to financially make this work. Also, I have a couple ideas for bonus Puppet Lando content if certain funding levels are hit. Could be a pretty cool release. What ever happened to the Black Sun faction? Are they totally out of cannon now? I haven't read any books since roughly 2000 so I'm out of the loop. I liked that faction and Xizor. Swank as Grievous was a nice bonus I didn't know I needed.

Great guitar solo on the new Puppet Lando release! So cool that Jeff got a bunch of RFR listeners involved in the production.

Rob Stewart

Love that Jimmy got me with Rod Stewart too - I get that 2 or 3 times a week. Either time to learn to sing properly or go with Handsome Bob. Neither seem too possible!

Ben P. Stein

Fantastic show and amazing song. Great job by everyone on this latest track! Though I’m not a vinyl guy (I’m more of a digital person) I would enthusastically back a Puppet Lando album!

What a show! Very excited for tales of the empire, and outlaws looks good. With ‘tales of’ likely to be a series of different types, I can’t wait for the tales of Kitster! ‘Buckle up baby’ was such a phenomenal song, and it actually made me want to dust off my saxophone and start playing again, so major kudos to everyone involved. Excuse me as I go and make the ‘Tyler’s Beard’ appreciation group on Facebook and based on the reaction in the aftershows, everyone will be joining!

Todd Stewart

I had Buckle Up stuck in my head the rest of the day. Well done RFR house band. Start planning now for a set at the next Celebration.

Jeff Holland

Full frontal Pikes, Gamorean toes, bald Sullustans and Han Solo with boobies. The most X-rated episode of RFR ever! Ha! Loved this episode! Trailer recaps, Puppet Lando, news, caller voicemails. This episode had it all!

Tanya S

“Buckle Up” is currently living in my head rent free. 🎶🎺🎸🥁🎹

Finally catching up on the main show, loved the trailer breakdowns. Great episode!
