Some new features you may see in the upcoming updates:

Looped Spline

After some work of compacting the data structure, looped sweep spline (first and last end points are connected) will be supported in both continuous and discrete modes.

Capped Spline

Sphere profile of sweep splines is efficient and can be subtracted by other primitives with blending. Its discrete version acts as the ZSphere tool in ZBrush.

Other profiles like cylinder/rectangle/hexagon can't be subtracted with large blending factor unless you increase the "Round" value, since the rounded part can be affected by blending.

But the sphere profile with equal size at each control point is not convenient for modeling organic shapes. Therefore, I experimented a hacky capped variation (similar cost as the cylinder profile) to allow unequal size at each point that can be subtracted with large blending factor.
