In some post I saw on IG, Arielle was being called out on having her ex husband come visit. She replied to a comment that she could give a kidney to a homeless kitten and people would still find fault with her. (I can’t remember what IG page it was on). She’s so full of herself and I can’t stand their part of the show. I feel bad, because I like Biniyam and he really looks like he’s a great dad to Avi…but Arielle’s attitude and personality make it impossible for me to watch them. Listening to your recaps will be the only way I know what happens with them, because I’m fast forwarding through them (and Corey and Evelin). Also, Jenny’s tantrum at the end of this episode was so satisfying. Seeing that chair fly out the door when she stormed off screen was absolutely hilarious! I have a looooooot of thoughts on how childish Jenny is and how Sumit just doesn’t want to marry her, but this is already really long lol

Thoughts: Jenny is the new Nicole! It is the exact same scenario. They will never marry. Ever. And she will never give up. I don't like Ari but Binyam is no prize. He is every bit as manipulative as she is. The two of them are like children playing house and the nanny having to do everything practical for them and the baby while her parents act as bank.

I have a question.... Why don't we have the same issue with Jenny wearing Indian garb that we had with Ari wearing African garb? Is it because of who Ari is as a person that grosses us out and we attach that to her wearing the African garb? So it feels like its coming from a different place with her than with Jenny. If it were any other white woman in her situation, would you feel the same way? By situation I mean had a kid with an Ethopian man and moved there. Just really curious here. I initially felt the same way when I saw her, but had to sit and think about why I was feeling that way. Would love your input.

I just came here to comment on that lol. If I'm not mistaken, cultural appropriation is making money off of other cultures, for instance if she designed that dress and sold it. That's a whole nother can of worms too, because fashion has always done that, but anyways. She's in Africa, with an African husband and baby, and trying to fit in while also supporting the local economy. The outfit is super cute too. There shouldn't be an issue with it. I hate Ari btw and sticking up for her is very difficult 😂
