Weekly Update CD .514a - Assistant Rescue Done 11/12/24 (Patreon)

Alright this update finally gets the ball rolling on the start of the rogue lightcaster hunt... sort of. There's someone else that wants to test you first with spicy results. There will be a few different paths by the time this one is finished, depending on your relationship with your assistant, Karen, and Professor Barberry, as well as your own capabilities. For now, the solo variant is finished, in which you overpower her with your own stats (you'll want high orange experience and intelligence or willpower to succeed). It's a meaner route that's done right now, but I'll have merciful options and the other mentioned routes finished in the future.

EDIT (.512a): This update wraps up the nice route for if you escaped on your own and includes Professor Barberry's rescue attempt variation, as well as the version where you don't have enough stats or relationships to escape but also don't want to sit through Poe's torture program. I still need to finish up the actual torture scene, your assistant's rescue attempt, and Karen's, and then we'll move on to the rest of the rogue hunt.

EDIT (.513a): This release wraps up most of the remaining assistant stuff (specifically, Karen's rescue and the semi-bad end if the player lets themselves get toyed with by their captor). Ava-Kitty's clips are in the folder too, but I still have to finish Ivy's variant and then that'll be the last thing before the adventure leading into the rogue confrontation is done.

EDIT (.514a): This release wraps up the finale of the Assistant confrontation, paving the way for the rest of the adventure leading to the splinter coven showdown.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1) If you need a clean install, download the .510b ALL FILES pack from the above link.

Step 2) Unzip the all files pack to create your College Daze folder. From now on, you'll extract future updates and place them in this same folder, overwriting the previous content to update it.

Step 3) If necessary, download an update only pack like the one in this post.

Step 4) Unzip the update only pack and copy the contents of it.   

Step 5) Paste these contents in your original 'all files' folder. Your computer will ask if you want to overwrite the existing HTML file. Click yes.    

Step 6) If you did everything right, you should have an HTML file that you click to run the game and a fan-made Images folder that has folders from 'aug02' to '540'. If you find an 'Images' folder inside your 'Images' folder, that means you pasted it incorrectly and need to re-copy and paste stuff.     

Step 7) When you run the game, the images and text should display as normal. If they don't, send me a message and we can try to figure this out further.
