Hey witches! Thank you for your patience for this post, it’s been a busy weekend! Here is a part 2 with more pet protection spells for you.

Animal Blessing Protective Spell #1 by Wands, Brews and Broomsticks:

You will need:

Blessed Water or either Holy Water

Say the following three times:

“Bast of grace and beauty, Protectress of all the animal race, Shield my pet/pets (name your pets) from all harm and hurt, Keep my animal warm and safe always, Watch over my pet (name your pet/pets) from day to day and at night, If my pet goes stray, grant them happiness and keep them safe but please bring them back to me in due time, Let my pet have a life that is stress free and no strife”

So Mote It Be

When you say the spell drip only one drop of the blessed water on the forehead of your pet.

Animal Protection Spell #2 by Wands, Brews and Broomsticks:

What you will need:

A couple of green candles

One white candle

A picture of your animal

Consecrated water and salt

Protection oil

Favorite treat that your pet likes

What to do:

Take your two green candles and light them. The candles represent the conscious of what is going on in regards to the conservation issues that’s in your animal.

Take your white candle and light it because it represents the animal that is concerned or that you want to protect.

Take your picture and the white candle then say:

“Spirit of fire burning bright, give protection to my pet this night (name your pet) The moon above for this pet please provide shelter and keep them safe from harm Draw close all spirits of the same as my pet come hither, come hither. Power of the wild and of strength that is so great please help to defend and protect the fate of my pet, so mote it be.”

To finish the spell give the treats to your pet or either scatter them outside for other animals to enjoy having.

Animal Protection Spell #3 by Wands, Brews and Broomsticks:

Sometimes you need to do a protection animal spell but you might not have any items to do the spell. This spell does not require anything except a quiet room to concentrate.

Here is what you do:

Close your eyes and picture a white light around your pet. Say this:

“My pet is protected right now and safe. No harm or sickness can come to my pet” So Mote it be. Say it 3x.

If your pet is astray then say this:

“My pet is astray right now Goddess so please keep my pet safe from all harm. Let my pet quickly find his/her way back to me. So Mote it be”

Say it 3x and picture your pet returning back to you safe and happy.

Pet Protection Powder by Breeland Walker:

Intent: To protect the life and well-being of a pet or domestic animal.

Ingredients:

2 pt Red Clover Blossoms & Leaves

1 pt White Oak Bark

1 pt Hyssop

1 pt Sweet Basil

For Cats - 1 pt Catnip

For Dogs - 1 pt Fennel

For Horses - 1 pt Oatstraw

For Small Mammals - 1 pt Parsley

For Reptiles - 1 pt Nettle

For Fish or Amphibians - 1 pt Irish Moss

Materials:

Mortar & Pestle (or spice grinder)

Funnel

Mesh Strainer

Collection Dish

Container

Note: Powdered versions of most herbs are available online. Also, if you can get your hands on a good spice grinder, you can make your own powder from dried herb products.

Grind each ingredient separately to produce fine powder. Sieve the material through the mesh strainer into the collection dish; this removes the larger unground pieces and gives you cleaner powdered herb. (Pro-Tip: Putting a funnel under the mesh strainer reduces lost material and makes collection much easier.)

Combine the component powders in the collection dish, mix well, and bottle immediately.

Bind a few pinches of the powder into a sachet or packet with an image of the animal which is to be protected. If shed fur, claws, scales, etc. are available, include these as well.

Please note that the use of this powder does not guarantee perfect health, complete prevention of accidents, or abnormally long life. It can only help to protect and succor the animal for the natural span of its’ life. Be sure to employ good methods of mundane care and regular checkups to ensure good health.

Some pets like dogs or cats like to wander off to someplace new, but what if your pet gets lost when it goes on a stroll and can’t find its way back home? Whatever the reason for your pet getting lose, it could be a potential nightmare for you. Helping your pet to never leave home sweet home without you may need a little magical help. This charm will help keep your pet from getting lost so it can always safely find its way home to you.

You will need:

Any “good luck charm” that is metal and small enough to put on a collar with the rest of your dog’s tags, maybe a star or a small sun or a clover symbol.

You will be drawing the rune for the Norse god Tyr on the charm. It looks like this: ↑

A green pen

A green candle

Matches

Take the charm and place it next to the candle. Now light the candle and put a simple arrow symbol on the charm with the green pen. Light the candle and say, while looking into your dog’s eyes:

Tyr, hear, always stay.

You will never run away.

Always be by my side,

Never vanish, never hide.

If you do someday run free,

Always return to me.

Put the charm on your dog’s collar, put it on your dog, and say:

On the earth

He does roam.

Bring him to me,

Bring him home.

It is meant to be,

He will come to me.

Make him see

That near me

Is where he ought to be.

Old Mother Redcap’s “Watch Over Me” Pet Protection Guardian

This self-made guardian is designed for spiritual protection of your much loved pets. It can be used on virtually any kind of pet you have, and will act as a permanent guardian for them. One can be made for each pet, and I will show you how:

Items needed:

- Strong, durable cloth or calico

- Your pets own hair, fur, whiskers etc (Please don’t go pulling at your pets, keep shed hair and whiskers for this purpose)

- Herbs that are safe for your pet (for dogs I would recommend rosemary, basil, oregano)

- Needle/thread

- Scissors

- Basic sewing, embroidery skills

Method:

For this of you who love a little embroidery, you might want to use an embroidery hoop for this.

Stretch out your material ready to embroidery a large eye onto your chosen fabric. We are using an eye, as a symbol for both warding the evil eye and as a symbol for a guardian/all seeing eye. You can use any colours you see appropriate.

As you’re sewing, focus on the protection of your animals.

Once ready, cut out an even square around the eye, and an equal piece of fabric with it.

Start sewing these two pieces together. Sew shut leaving one seam open, turn right side out.

Start filling it up with your herbs and hair/whiskers from your animal. Sew shut making sure there are no leaks.

Once finished, breathe life into your pets guardian. Proclaim its duty and give it a name.

Place somewhere in view of your pets. For instance, you can place it in a dogs bed, hang it up in a birds cage, hang it outside a rabbit pen, etc.
