The theme for March is taiyaki! Taiyaki was first introduced to me when I was in high school, my Japanese school teacher would bring a new treat for her class to enjoy each month, and this sweet treat stood out to me the most ✨ If you have yet to try it, taiyaki is a fish-shaped cake that is filled with red bean paste, ice cream, chocolate, strawberry cream, custard, and even cheese! There is a local shave ice place that I have been going to a lot that serves taiyaki 😋 Usually, I am a salty snacks person, but have been craving a lot of sweets lately haha.
