As promised, here's the next chapter of Industrious with some more interesting character interactions and a bit more Sakurai.  Next chapter will move back to the girls with a section from Satsuki's point of view and some time with Yakumo.

I believe I'll be working on a chapter of Speedrun while the vote goes through, expect that shortly after this post goes live.

Meh, the whole sakurai plot is annoying, and I have a feeling is going to get worse. It's isn't interesting and I really don't understand why he's wasting his time with this. I really hope it isn't a complete arc just helping him just to get a girl

Sakurai is something of a necessary evil as far as the plot is concerned, sadly. The bright side is that this will be the last focus chapter he has for a while, so there is that.

This chapter felt less than the rest. Actually a better description would be it felt like a transition chapter where you are setting up things for the future. Also is Naruko’s little brother also Itachi’s little brother? One thing to keep in mind for a metal spine is the Wolverine issue with magneto, there are magnetic release users in this world. So you need something to block thet.

Ironically, it's actually on the longer side for my usual fare, but it is something of a transition chapter that sets stuff up in the future, yes. Enkai isn't Fugaku's kid, no. It'd be a neat twist, but that isn't the case here.

He's gonna have to build it out of a special metal That's probably much more chakra conductive than the regular chakra metal. Since Kushina is one of those individuals with beyond absurd levels of Chakra from her Bloodline and Hosting the complete Kurama for Decades. Probably would have to make it out of Adamante the stuff that their Chakra Chains and the Monkey Staff is made from at least if he wants it to be the best possible. (It's supposed to be the strongest and most Chakra conducive Material in Naruto.

The spine being infused with her Chakra should make it extremely Resistant to a Magnet release user trying that one her. Especially since hers is so Dense and potent.

MC could always invent better metal/alloy. He is the Dreamer, after all. Material limitations just means he need to invent new solutions. Starkium came to mind. Maybe Uchihanium? For that bit of bribe for the Uchiha Princess?

For all that this was a transition chapter all the little dominoes being set are quite enjoyable to be seen. Looks to me like we are transitioning from a purely slice of life story to a more plot focused narrative which is quite enjoyable on its own. While I agree Sakurai's storyline is a drag by itself it is useful to introduce new elements to the story. Frankly our MC needs something aside from all the estrogen on his life, except even the new male friend he made is now also calling him sensei. Poor Kota. And Kushina is about to have her mind blown and probably going to have to get involved more seriously given she is about to get back in play. Considering how important a spine is chances are this artifact of Kota is going to endup more important than expected. And OP as well. Poor dude can't really catch a break can he ? He is slowly but surely accumulating the kind of power anybody with a lick of sense would be extremely worried about. After all he can literally make his dreams come true. This is one of the few times where Konoha could possibly deal with threat to its existence as long as Kota as enough lead time to tinker a solution.

Ok, so Hinata has gone full Yandere here. Now the big question is for who? While fanfic has made me think the Mc in reflex. I don’t think that fits that well. What do you guys think?
